Many are your typical neighborhood. They are not even wearing black, white, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, magenta, red, pink, brown, indigo, clothes. You will never know. Its gupt ! Daas had gone to a Gurudwara in Edmonton. I saw a person doing chaur saab of SGGS. His head was vibrating constantly. Something was wrong with that person. I thought He had a medical problem. His behavior, look on his face was out of this world. Initially, thought he had health problem. I felt very pity and very curious to know what had gone wrong with him. He was doing sewa of SGGS like a very devoted man, as if he could see something that we praanis could not. I went around and asked local ppl. Then, the locals told me, he has attained an extremely high avastha. He sees Parthak Hari everywhere. Doesnt talk, Doesnt care, is total mastana, veyparavah, Such ppl u will not see on youtube or internet forums. Edmonton Wale Baba Ji - Gupt @paapiman @raagmala

Training after 40 - experiences and tips

I was doing these and more. No plans to start again. Calisthenic is best, but very very hard. I was an all-rounder —-> good in athletics & academics. Puratan Roohani power is something else. It comes from Guru. You might train heavy weight all life but in battlefield will be chickened out. Yoadha blessed by Guru Saab may have zero training but will take out all the enemy force. -

Running / Cycling at high heart rates like 170Bpm or higher. Keep ur heart rate high for long duration. Eg. Running full speed on treadmill 30-45 minutes. -

Maffetone is for endurance athletes -Long distance running and Cycling. For sprinting u will need 80% Maffetone in the beginning to build ur base, then slight 20% HIIT to build pace. -

The best way to explain this would be as follows: Person A: Resting Heart Rate is 50bpm Person B: Resting Heart Rate is 70bpm If both ppl are made to run 10k at the same speed. Person A, will expend less energy. His heart rate will be lower versus person B. His heart will be working efficiently. When you practice LHR (Low Heart Rate training) you are increasing the efficiency of your heart by doing the relaxed pace more & more efficiently. If you are working out at HIIT, you are already maxed out. Based on Maffetone method: 180-Age should be your max heart rate while training. This applies to running, cycling. May not apply to Akido, as Im not familiar. I will later post dangers of HIIT. There are many victims in the community. Atrial Fibrillation is most common. Google “HIIT and Atrial fibrillation.” -

I feel intervals are also not good. ppl want to do HIIT bcoz of the adrenaline and feel good factor. Pls read Dr. Maffetone research. Low Heart rate exercise done for long periods of time is the best and will improve your overall performance. Yiu need to focus on lowering your resting heart rate. In my peak my resting HR was 49. I ran 10K in under an hour by training the maffetone method and zero HIIT
