  1. Taking care of mind body and spirit is important, so working, exercising and simran/meditation. Discipline is good and going deep into the meditation.
  2. The core messages are yes to be good. But many of these religions have become corrupted over the years.
  3. Brother. I understand the differences between the different types of paralysis, I’ve experienced most of them. If you sat for simran, open your eyes and see or a feel pret in front of you paralyzing you, What would u do. People walk the path and have different experiences. My experiences of being paralyzed were to teach me that God IS the Prets, the spirits. If someone says they felt uneasy then it’s their call, not yours, for their experiences are their own. I just sat for simran now and my body became paralyzed in the positive way. But when I was starting out on the path, when I was washing off my Karams and coming across a lot of spirits, I was also paralyzed in negative ways. We cannot invalidate anyone else’s experiences. God will cause us to experience what he wishes us to experience.
  4. There are different types of paralysis. I know a lot of people who have been paralyzed by spirits/ sleep paralysis. Everyone’s on their own stage and has their own experiences, it comes down to trusting yourself and the gyan within that we all have.
  5. Like I said, it’s up to your intuition and how you feel. God sits in every heart and sometimes, you need to trust in him. The additional gyan is that everyone everything everywhere is God, so even if you encounter what you perceive to be a negative spirit, just accept that it’s God. Then you’ve seen the Actual Truth of the situation.
  6. It depends how it makes you feel. In bhagti, you need to hone in on and trust in your intuition. That feeling you get when something feels right or doesn’t feel right, you need to listen to it. God gives us Anhad Naad sometimes in different ways, Im no one to judge how anyone hears it.
  7. It depends how the sounds made you feel. If they made you uneasy and the paralysis feeling was negative, as if you felt something was trying to get you or harm you, they were probably from hell/ negative spirits. If they were soothing and made you feel at ease and more relaxed, they could have been Anhad Naad. I’ve heard both, I got paralyzed a lot back in the day by negative spirits/ demons etc. When you do simran and hear actual Anhad Naad, and your body becomes still and doesn’t move alot, it should be a calming, nice feeling.
  8. Yes. It’s a good sign, Your trikurti, third eye working. Keep going. You’ll have sensations all over eventually..relax and let the samadhi take you, go deep into it. Feel the Truth presence and trust in it.
  9. Just sit, be silent and sit in a comfortable position, relax, let go and let the samadhi take you. When you go deep into it, it doesn’t matter how you’re sitting or lying down, as long as it’s comfortable. You’ll start having a sensation where your body goes numb and won’t move, and the simran continues. Let the naam take over.
  10. Hi All There are nationwide protests around the UK tomorrow in support of the farmers in Punjab. Please join to show your support and hopefully we can make a difference. Satnaam Ji
  11. Hi Is anyone joining these protests in London tomorrow?
  12. Good post in spreading awareness. The government is totally corrupt in India, you just need to walk the streets of any city to see it. People hungry, littered streets. Yet they’ve spent billions on space missions and no doubt on much military equipment which they’ve used in the past to attack civilians. Heartless human beings they are. And pushing a strongly Hindu nationalist agenda as they have been for decades.
  13. Don’t try hard. It happens according to His Grace. Do it with love. Apply gurbani to your life during the day (Truthful living), and jaap at night. Have no expectations, relax and enjoy it. The path is endless. But He hears you.
  14. Welcome. This is one of the best forums out there from what I’ve seen so you’re in a good place. You won’t always agree with everything everyone says but it’s good to discuss things sometimes. I would suggest reading the whole GGSJi or random pages and applying them to your life/ remembering them. Truth is overall so if you understand and apply, you can’t go wrong. The Gyan is the Guru, Guru is the Gyan.
  15. Hi, try reading Guru Granth Sahib Ji in its entirety. And apply the gyan taught in it to your everyday life. Remember the gyan throughout the day, and when maya comes, react in Truth, not in BS.
  16. With regards to the tiger, either defend yourself (if possible as Guru Gobind Ji did), run or get eaten. Humans still need to accept hukam and karam. The Gurus accepted shaheedi, Some in awful ways, but we accept nevertheless. They realised it was just God, and accepted.
  17. I don’t claim to be of any avastha or spiritual stage. This path of bhagti is never ending. But it’s a path of Bhagti. Of Love. Not avasthas, who’s higher up, what’s higher up. There is no higher or lower. It’s only until you literally put your head on the floor and accept your self as shit as the Gurus themselves accepted themselves as lowly worms, that you start truly loving. I’m by no means perfect at all. I accept myself as shit. I’m just a sinner, we all are without Him. For without Truth, we live in ego, I wondered around for years in fear etc. it actually took me ages to accept the Truth. I dont usually talk about this stuff because I don’t dwell on visions anymore and I don’t think anyone’s higher or lower for having them, that’s ego. I guess I started accepting everything’s Him when I started having visions, of the Gurus etc, lights, auras, all that stuff. I know a lot of people who have these so no big deal, and doesn’t make anyone great or worse as His creation is Equal, all an extension of Him. I used to see his shakti, blue lights, everywhere, on and as everything etc, hence realising, it’s all just One, I saw and felt His prescence as Everything, everywhere on everyone in waking life. I knew it was Him as a wife knows their spouse. I first started having those experiences properly when I started doing naam simran at 4am, my third eye seemed to open and then there was no going back. Then the next few years, I started going deep into samadhi, and having experiences. Going deep into the sunn, I realised, it’s All just Him. I felt like my heart was opening to the universe and that it’s all just an extension of Him. I understood that He has no form or image, that the world is a dream and an illusion, and the reality is Nothing, but a frequency, that can’t be described. His presence. I’ve gone through phases where I’ve had dreams of the Gurus guiding me almost every single night some weeks and too many darshans to count. I know other Sikhs who have had these too, and although I accepted the blessings, I’ve realised not to dwell on them as they’re guiding lights that help lead the way and also Reassurance that we’re on the right path. I started understanding that the Dukh and the Sukh, the good and bad, angel, demons are all just Him. I started forgetting, but when I forgot, I’d bring myself to the present moment and remember that it’s All just Him. There is no image or form, the images are Him. I’d apply what I’d learned in my samadhi in real life. It’s just a frequency you vibrate at, like a knowledge you have that brings you to a level where you know it’s Him and can feel it. In reality, it’s just Love, my heart was open to Him. In the good and the bad. Any visions of demons Or ghosts I would have, I’d just start laughing and say God I know it’s just you, and go back to sleep or my business. I actually realised Love of Truth, As in my heart had expanded to basically its zenith, when I’d pushed all of the visions I used to have constantly in waking life aside, accepted my life and work, and my time on this earth as my Karam for now, and also experienced a lot of Dukhi in life and in my work. One day when things were bad, My heart opened so much, I felt like it had burst, and I realised that all the bad eggs I’d met, the con artists, nindaks etc, and the messed up things that had happened as well as the happiness and the good, had opened my heart to realise that it’s all just Him, love, and that’s when I realised that the path isn’t rocket science, and by no means about where you’re at, for the path is Endless and the Truth discoveries Never End. Its just True Love, In good and bad, accepting this universe as One, that we are One. You can’t properly explain love, you have to feel it, and walking on the straight and narrow path, following gurbani/ being good, taking care of your mind, body, spirit, supporting your own life, naam simran etc is the way to do it. Love has no logic and you have to experience it yourself. He is not some unattainable level you can’t reach. He’s everywhere, He flows through us, and His love for us is Unconditional. He’s everyone and thing we see and all that we don’t. It’s an advanced psychology. He’s not simply accessible to some on the path and others less. That’s what the Gurus tried to tell us. Look around you and remember or apply it. Gurbani tells us it many times. Talk to Him, ask Him for Guidance yourself.
  18. I understand what you mean. What I’ve learned is that the gyan is simple. It begins with accepting he’s all, and the fearlessness comes. It took me years and I still fall often. But it’s comforting to know it’s all just Him.
  19. The gyan, the teachings are all in Gurbani. They’re not there to be read like a recipe over. They’re there to be applied in action, in simran ie remembrance. If Guru Nanak, as the Great Teacher, Taught that He is Nirboah and Nirvair, why would we not remember/ accept/ apply that Truth, in humility, instead of ignoring it in procrastination and ego. To give our heads, we must accept that we are Nothing, in humility. Truth is so simple, we ourselves complicate it. He’s right there, staring you in the face. You just have to believe it. Being of a high avastha or whatever is of no consequence. When your lover is sitting right in front of you, why ignore them? Bandgi, doing good deeds etc is great, but the first step is to accept the Truth Reality, that it’s all Him.
  20. The first step is to live in Nirboah and Nirvair. Recognize and naturally in sehaj accept that He’s everyone, everything, everywhere. There’s nothing He doesn’t power, He’s All pervading. So we Never Fear Anything or Anyone and become All Loving, for it’s All Him/ Truth.
  21. Maybe he’s not a real Gurmukh. Plenty of self proclaimed Gurmukhs out there who talk the talk but who’s inner state doesn’t match their claims. How does he treat you differently?
  22. Yes, you can only experience it, and it’s beyond logic. Hence we apply the gyan and learn as we move on the never ending path.
  23. The thing is, that God gives us guidance in our dreams and waking life as visions, messages etc. So respect them. But I know a Brahmgyani who lived a few years in blind faith, and hasn’t fallen. Very rare as many of us use visions to believe and accept gyan. Blind faith is applying and practicing gurbani without the need for visions etc. It shows that true love isn’t dependent on anything, it’s just Love. You feel it, you don’t need to see it or be attached to an image for it. Someone on here had a good point in that, were here to experience Life living in the 3rd energy.. the astral realm is there when we die. The lessons we learn here can be so profound. On earth, you can realise that the realms, this world, are false. It is a dream and an illusion. We live a story. You realise there is Only Truth, which existed before image and will continue to exist. This is partly how you come to realise Oneness of all things and beings. To accept in humility, that there’s only Truth. There’s only True Love. You live your story, but you’re not attached to the highs and lows, realising it all to just be Him/ Truth.
  24. God is One, Truth is One, We are One. It is beyond logic and can only be experienced. The reality is True Unconditional Love. Love in Dukh and Sukh. Both two sides of the same coin. There is no ego, it’s an illusion. As is fear etc. We may walk around, thinking we’re rebelling, that we’re beyond God etc. But the reality is that Hes your clothes, He’s the sun, Hes day and Night, Hes the food you eat, your father, mother, brother, sister, Your glory, Body etc. We are fools to think we are separate. When we truly sit within ourselves, grounded, seeing past the illusion, we see that He is Us and we are Him. We are not higher or lower, better or worse, richer or poorer. We are Him. He is not beyond Us,and we are not beyond Him, for He Is Us. We realise this In humility and love. He is not unattainable, He is right here, we are One.
