Gurfateh kidsama ji,  This sounds about right, they DO get more active when you start heading towards the satch.  I haven't personally had these things but i've come across a few that have had same issues as you.   My primary suggestion would be to do simran and lots of saas saas so that you can get to hearing shabad and more important;ly, drinking amrit russ(sweet taste).  i'm not sure where you are on the simran ladder, but this should be a major objective.

It's not that you didn't have the problem. They were there in the background happy that you were stagnating. When you started doing paat they resist because it threatens their control of you.

Also light ghee jot. Personally I like mool mantar and jap ji sahib because they're easier for me, but if you have understanding of the other banis it's fine.

Do you mind my asking what dumb stuff you did?

I think there are two of them. I have never seen them. It's funny that couple of months back when I was listening to songs and Sidhu moosewala lol, I didn't have this problem, but when I started again progressing in sikhi and doing path, I started having this problem. They come at night, around 2-3 hours after I go to sleep. A couple days ago my told me that she had a dream and she saw a witch in my room and she was standing in the back and I was sleeping. I was suffering and the witch was torturing me (mentally), and then my mom said that she was getting really mad at the witch but couldn't do anything. I didn't ask my mom to tell me more or tell her anything, I don't want to scare her, as it's a temporary problem. They didn't come everyday tho, maybe once a week or so, recently it was 2x a week.
These are souls that are attached to me for many years because of me doing dumb stuff, and I had become a source of energy for them. Now I am rising, I guess they are trying to hardest to keep me down and not loose me. They feed of off spiritual energy, they are hungry souls.  I would like to say tho, don't loose faith in gurbani, it's only at the start its hard, and you will have doubts regarding power of gurbani and other fearful thoughts. This is all their work. It helps if you have good memory, because there are moments in the day when the higher reality becomes clear for a while, or when doing path, or when listening to katha, but then again the world pulls you down to it's level. Hold on to that reality, know what true, and move forward.

You should read 'Confessions of an economic hitman' by John Perkins. I think most streetwise people have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes.

Sikhilove reacted to SunnySingh in Can Women Be In The Panj Pyare
Not wanting to enter into any controversy whether women can be in the Panj Pyare or not,  all this discussion will go on for long time, as long as people are not fair or are sadly being influenced by those who have not realized that Divinity within. This is how the society moves, means in constant conflicts and confusion.
But from there to say, that if there is any combination of genders between them, thus not all men, then the light of the Guru will not come forth?
This is not correct at all, because, whether singhs or singhnis, it is diferentiated at the physical level, which is not real, in the sense that, our true essence is spiritual or soul being, and this is what has to be deeply pure in order for the light of Guru to shine forth, and not because of the body of a particular gender.
The body which is inert and consciousless by itself, moves and acts as per the purity of the mind and the soul. The light of the Guru is already present in each jeev atma, but it is only felt and seen if purity is there.
For example, the eyes through which we see others is not the same if a sant or a paapee see some other´s spouse.
The seeing of a paapee will have a lustful look, while the seeing of a sant, will have a look of mercy asking Him to shower all with mercy.
So you see, the purity or high consciouss level is not of the body or genders, but, of the mind and soul.
Also when you do abhyaas or bhakti, it is the soul which arises within ito higher spiritual realms, not the body which stays still and unmoved.
So brother, let us not complicate things more than what they already are, let us give a deep careful thought to all that we say or express in rush, without trying to see the situation as a whole in a different and a logical perspective.
The purity lies in the mind and soul, not the physical.  The physical needs skills or training for physical activities just as sports or commiting actions to be carried out, but where spirituality is concerned to transmit the light of the Guru, only purity of mind and soul is needed, which is above any genders.

True. There are slight individual differences, ie our bodies in the khel, but we are in essence One, same Truth. That’s why of ego, they call it the darkness of ego.. it’s ignorance, hence darkness. Everyone wakes up to a world that He runs through And has created..His projection

How can you really be in ego if you accept this.

Look at many of the babas who try and teach, and then fall. It happens so often. I’ve seen naam used for the ego and more many times. Hence the path is sharper than a sword. Very few stay truth stay on the path, but those who do are a bright light in the universe.

Some people use naam for selfish negative deeds. Look at Prophet Mohammed and some of the Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Many fall due to lust, lust for power, greed, anger, attachment, etc. Naam, simran can destroy you when you fall down the deep dark well of desire.

However, walking in the straight and narrow path, applying Gurbani to your life, not being Seduced by Maya, you can live a life of contentment and Chardi Kala.

Well, you’re on the right path. Experiences like that propel you forward, giving you encouragement.

Regarding the Love, you’ll experience it for yourself. The more you practice Gurbani in your life, including daily life, the more you’ll recognize the love. It’s always there, we just often don’t see/acknowledge or accept it.

Do naam simran from 12.30am. 2.5 hours is recommended...you’ll go into deep samadhi and knock out while doing it. But do at least half an hour. Relax and hear the ringing sound (Anhad Naad), and let the samadhi/deep meditation take you. Read Guru Granth Sahib, and understand it... it’s there for your taking, it’s all you need, esp mool mantar.

Practice Truth/gyan of gurbani during your daily life.. be good to others, kind, compassionate, forgiving without enmity, strong willed, fight until you win when you should, be a Warrior Spirit and a Good Soul.

Men and women are Equal. Gurbani tells us to see God in every heart, and see that He is our True Husband. At some point, humans decided that mean are higher than women, when Gurbani teaches pure equality. Look at Mai Bhago, the perfect example of a woman.

Our different Janams, our different sexes in janams are symbolic of this. We are ever changing. Only the Truth remains. Why worship a fleeting shadow when the King of Kings is the only being that remains, the only reason we wake up, eat food, breathe air, walk amongst the trees etc. Life is temporary. See God in your husband and wife, love them, respect and cherish them but don’t be attached to them. Don’t worship And get attached to a temporary body when image is an illusion. Live free of the illusion and if you want to worship, worship All as God.

The men on here are getting it twisted to what they want the meaning to be. Mool Mantar sums everything up, God is One, His name is Truth, there is no other.

It’s true that simran is divine. But naam simran brings us towards those reconciliations of truth. Gurbani teaches us to live truthfully, don’t commit bad deeds, do good to others, support your own life and work honestly for what you have, be a fighter. Our Gurus taught us that the honest life of a householder is good, not sleeping around or falling into the pit of maya. With naam, a soul who practices truthful living In Practice, is a great soul.

The Devi’s and dark Demi gods had naam, but many used it for evil and remained stuck in the pit of maya. God gave naam/Truth (for the gyan of gurbani applied is also naam) to many teachers but many fell and used it to gain followers, power, women etc for themselves to be worshipped and not for Truth/God to be followed. Many were cowards and ran away in the face of battle when called upon to stand for Truth. Hence a bhagat with naam can easily fall, which is why Gurbani says the path is narrow and sharp as a sword.

Taking the Gurus examples, they lived life in the third energy of earth, they accepted Karam, they accepted life and they appreciated and lived it. They didn’t live in fairyland and practice miracles for all to see and worship them, or sit in a room or on a mountain doing simran all day. They taught people, they fed people, they lived, they built, they fought, they enjoyed life When they could whilst being good souls, they had children.
They taught Truthful Living in Practice, for As Guru Nanak said, Truth is high, But higher still is Truthful living.

I agree with what you say. The bhagat needs everything, yet she/he needs Nothing. Heaven is positive, hell is negative, there is Dukh and sukh, angel and demon. Without practicing Truth, it’s duality. In practicing Truth, it’s all Truth, Nothing, Love, Him.

This frequently doesn't happen. All sorts of thing can mess this up. From innate tendencies, to learnt behaviour during childhood. CP instructs men to grasp women's minds. Most blokes who are expecting women to worship them are going to be VERY disappointed in my opinion.

How comes certain people (who expect their wives to view them as gods) haven't incorporated Charitrio Pakhyaan and its message into their analysis?
What if a women finds herself married to a fudhoo bundha? An abusive husband? An erratic type. An unreasonable person. A bully. A weak willed coward etc. etc. Do you not know that this happens quite frequently?
Only a fool would view such a person as a god.

Spiritual one yes... All of us are soul brides and only real husband is Waheguru. This is all humans male and female both.  But the real mind bender is that there really is only one consciousness - our separate identities the "humai" or ego identity is not real. The consciousness behind every one of us is the same ONE consciousness. So who is being obedient to who? Is the character in the play being obedient to the actor? Is the dream character being obedient to the dreamer?? In both cases (used also in Gurbani to describe our plight) of course neither can even know that they are in fact the other.  It's ALL an illusion....
This thread started out about physical wife and husband though and is not the same thing.  Certainly both husband and wife should obey each other's wishes. If there is conflict they should work it out together. Nobody should be ordered around in marriage. If that's how you personally want a marriage I wish you luck.  I fear there won't be love as it's hard to really have a loving relationship when one person has a power relationship over the other. It's why we always say that boss / employee or doctor / patient etc are wrong to be in relationship. Because any authority or power of one over the other in a sexual relationship will mean one will take advantage of the other and there will be imbalance. Love can't happen in that instance --- maybe infatuation and lust over the other persons authority could happen. It's why some employees long to sleep with a boss. They figure they can get promotions etc. Sex becomes something like a bargaining chip for advancement. That should never happen in marriage.

OK, so you are in effect saying that Men have a different role in this world than women ?
Meaning, that women have an EXTRA duty to worship their husband ? and husband has a non-respecting/sit-back/easy ride ??........isn't that islam ???
How does this really make sense to you ?...
