Questions on achieving brahm gyani.
singh1981 replied to singh1981's topic in Sikh Sampardaaye Section
If 1 & 2 is rare then is it not logical to just become sannyasi? So that brahmgyan can be obtained quickly? For 3-can you give examples? Whay do you mean by “but a very are accepted”. I heard in Guru Nanak house all prayer is accepted? -
Please explain if anyone could be done and if one can be substituted by the other?

I have a few questions 1) All the Sants / Mahapurkhs were Sannyasis --- can we householders become brahm gyani, if the answer is Yes -- then please show me some examples. Don't give example from puritan times. I want examples from Modern times. 2) Is it possible to attain brahmgyan stage while living in foreign lands such as Canada, Amerika atey UK. Reason I ask is because here dollar and pound is the King and life is extremely worldly, materialistic. Worldly duties get to a very high avastha here, where as in India you can have constant daishan, visits to Gurudwaras and other pavitar asthaans. 3) Maharaaj Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh ji has left physical abode, can we still have his darshan, can he still listen to our prayers?

Do you want to a BOLD answer. Don't do sangat of a Sakat. Go, take amrit and leave his sangat for good, focus the rest of your life on Waheguru.

Living with partner. Partner has no issue on this as partner is also spiritual. I'd like to know if Brahmcharya is necessary to make heaps in spiritual progress.

Current Living Brahmgyanis that are easy to meet

How can I meet Sant Giani Inderjit Singh Raqbe Wale? If I goto a Mahapursh and tell them to give me Naam de daat, will they give it to me? Can they do my udhaar? -
Thanks once again for the positivity. Do you live in a western country? I am asking this because I am living in one. Do you think brahmgyaan is possible in western country or should I leave back to India. I feel that in India there are more Gurudwaras, more sangat, more brahmgyanis you can visit and hence the opportunities are plenty.

In my early 20s I could sit in one asana from 2.5 - 3 hours motionless. I had reached a state where no thought existed, time use to stop, breath use to stop for a couple seconds. I dont know what it was. But it was like Sunn. Then I married, kids and for 20 years I was engaged in worldly activities. Now I can hardly sit motionless for 1 hour. I lost all the kamaiye.

Can you provide more information on Sant Giani Inderjit Singh Raqbe Wale and what is your thoughts on Baba Avtar Singh Ji Sur Singh Bidhi Chand waley? -
Thanks for your overall positive message. However, I have heard from many Sants, Brahmgyanis and that extreme bhakti is only possible in youth. In old age the body does not have enough energy to do bhakti. I am now in my 40s. In my 20s I could sit for 2.5 hours in a posture. Now, I cannot sit for more than 1 hour and my legs start hurting. Also there is a shabad by Bhagat Kabir in SGGS about the same subject. What do you think, do I have a chance in my 40s?
-
Read a katha somewhere where mahaan brahmgyanis saying that old age is full of illness and young age is the age for meditation and bhakti. I feel I have spent my entire youth in worldly career pursuits and did not spend any time on meditation / bhakti. Now, I feel my entire life has been wasted, bcoz in my early 20s I had extreme passion for bhakti but then due to worldly career pressure I did not pursue. I am now well into my 40s... does this mean by boat has now sailed away and I cannot do the intense bhakti anymore. Can I get udhaar in this lifetime? Please don't try to give positive answer and try to encourage me. Please give me REAL TRUTHFUL answer, even if it is negative . ..I wanna hear it.
