I’m sorry, are you obsessed with me/ meantally I’ll? You’ve written like 100 messages to me on all other threads too, do you know what stalking is because you’re actually doing it on here and it’s scary. Why don’t you back off and get an actual life, no one has time for sad people who like to project their pain on others. Be more positive, you are no one to judge what stage of Bhagti I or anyone else are at. You’re a wannabe bully, but you fail at it miserably. Grown ups don’t speak the way you do, it’s clear to see from all your other creepy stalker messages that you are super immature with zero social skills and a total lack of civility. Grow up and get better.

Naam is Truth, it Is Gurbani. It’s the same. When you apply Truth (Gurbani) to your life, it’s the same as japping Naam, you live in a higher frequency of Truth. Naam simran is also required, at Amrit vela, ie 12.30am onwards. The Bhagat should go into samadhi and stay grounded in Truth during the day.

You need to write it down, and go through the appropriate channels if bullying is taking place. If your manager doesn’t care, take it higher up. Be assertive, ie stick up for yourself and your rights. We are taught to be strong, to fight for justice and attack if needed, not be passive. Don’t forget that Guru Nanak walked into Mecca like a badass, imagine someone doing that now or especially back in those days. Every Guru up to the last one had/ has strength and an I don’t give a f**k attitude. They don’t care what others think of them, they do what they need to and what they want.

I’ve never spoken to you, why so passive aggressive for no reason, are you being bullied at home that you come on here and are rude? People who are rude for zero reason are hurt and insecure. No one said it’s no religion, it’s Puran Sat, the Gurus brought people back to it when other teachers had failed or the teachings were corrupted.

For Naam to truly work, Gurbani needs to be applied, it needs to be a practice of Bandgi during the day, in your everyday life. All that needs to be done is for the gyan of gurbani to be applied, ie thought of and practiced during the day.

ie, if someone tries to wind you up, and you feel a lot of anger rising, remember they’re just God dressed up and don’t fall for it, it’s just Maya. If an attractive woman walks past, see her as a sister and for woman see men as brothers, other than your spouse or someone who’s actually your type if looking for someone.

Be kind and compassionate towards yourself and love yourself as Truth, as a part of God first and see God as others too. Be forgiving, accept you’re not perfect. Be humble, don’t have trishna (ego of Seva) etc. Be content with what you have etc.  Even rising to nindya can be ego, because we’re Nothing, just the Beautiful Truth. Things like the above are examples of how to live life everyday. And remembrance of the gyan is like japping naam.  Naam is Truth.

Well done for staying clean. I know someone who was never spiritual before they got clean but after rehab does Japji Sahib every morning, does a mindfulness meditation each morning and gets therapy. And it’s done them wonders. I’m sure there’s a lot more they need to do to keep clean, but it’s a large part of how they go through life now.

Seeing how dukhi can turn turn a human towards God is a truly Beautiful thing. Seeing the bright side of recovery from addiction, in moving closer to Truth is key I believe. Sometimes people come out of it stronger and better than they were before. But the path can be tough, I know that so well done to you.

Ive never had a great issue with alcohol but I did used to drink it and made a vow to fully give it up one day, which I broke once and then kept after that. It’s been over a decade now. But the dukhi from the kind of life I was living did turn me towards God.

You just need to be positive. Practicing gurbani, Naam Jaap is positivity. And ignore any ghosts around. It’s just a khel. Bad ghosts are the same as bad people. A bad persons astral body is not a pretty sight either, and they’re capable of bad things. Ignore and avoid them and accept that they’re an illusion, they’re just God dressed up in the khel, as are we and everything around us. And you just get on with  and focus on your own life without fear.

Lioness11 reacted to chzS1ngh in Was Guru Nanak God himself?
Well it seems there is discussion into whether Guru Nanak Dev ji was God himself....
if there is discussion about it then people are wondering if he was or wasn't

Only God exists...Gurbani is very clear about it...therefore Guru Nanak Dev ji was....
therefore We all are...therefore everything is...

only our Ego gives us a feeling of being seperate...Ego is amazing in that it allows the experience of the 'many' and allows us to have so many experiences as a seperate entity (illusion)...but problem is in this age Ego is stronger than the knowledge of 'God is the only entity' ... therefore majority of people question Gods existance...and run around aimlessly..

Ego has us fooled and Ego makes us forget of who we really are (God...all of us, and everything, and everything beyond...unlimited)

therefore the Question of 'Was Guru Nanak God himself' is mute...He Was...because Ego was at a complete minimum and connection from the Ego (individual state) to the supreme state was 100% formed. We all have that capability...and thats what Simran is For..Simran - remembering...

Just my thoughts about what Gurbani states...nothing more..

Guru Sahib did. The Gurus are 1 jot with 12 forms
The Word, the Bani is Guru, and Guru is the Bani. Within the Bani, the Ambrosial Nectar is contained.
Where does it say that in 52 hukams. Guru Sahib had no hate
Miri Piri. Focus less on outside qualities, more on inside qualities
