  1. A foundation to a good relationship is knowing where you stand with people, and having your own footing.

As peace keeping, mainly, universalists with a very centered position it easy for us to be swayed ever to slightly to our detriment in any direction.

It is easy to see when somebody's Gurmat has shifted ever so slightly to accomodating hindus, muslims, white supremacists, imperials etc.

Gurmat stands alone as it is. It corrects us and keeps us on the Path while correcting other paths.

There is no group upon which we can rely. We can rely on all groups to be semi broken versions of themselves, with confused doctrines and their own percentages of I'll people capable of anything.

    Hello,

I've been studying Sikhism for twelve years and already follow not cutting hair and wearing Kara. However, I live in small rural town and there is actually no Sikh temple in my entire state. Additionally, the nearest one in another state is 8 hours away. I am quite low income and can never afford travel. Can I still be a Sikh? Can I baptized myself?

Yes brother you are already a Sikh, you're just poor like many Sikhs before you and after.

When you do Naam Simran you are in congregation.

  3. And what is this?

People like this are either fakes trying to blemish our good reputation and need to get beat out of their business or are absolute traitors and failures who need to get beat out of their business.

If you're a Sikh you get with the program, that was actually espoused by the Guru Saibhan, or the program's going to get you, bro we're not going to have this in Khalsa Paanth.

Now I'm not sure if the context of this has simply been absolutely misused by these retards or if this is just absolutely fugazi but this but the sentiment that they are expressing bro there's no place for this among Us and I expect all of us to beat it the admin cut out of them.

Figuratively and if necessary literally. Have em sign a waiver.

No offense to any amritdhari or anyone who is baptized.

Sikhi is bandagi. The external form matters not at all. If Waheguru wished it he would make everyone a traditional 5K Khalsa. But this is not so. Sikhi is accepting fully who you are and your communion with God. No one else has any say in this. Other people can only point you to this direction. Sikhi is bandagi, true submission to God. If God wished you to be a muslim, you’d be the best Muslim. Or Sikh, or Hindu, or Christian. Nanak constantly re-iterated that the path is naam; nothing else is useful.

Brother. Those Kakkar were added intentionally for certain people. You can be a mona that's fine.

Yes they did exist. Dass can say this from experience of reading Chandi Di Vaar where a lot of the starting pauris of the paath talk about how the demons were created and their strength etc.

    Facts brother.

The Bible, American Indian Tradition, and the US Army Green Berets all agree one species is six fingered and copper colored.

    Hello everybody

I don't know if I should post this here or not. I was meditating yesterday and since then I have been hearing this constant low frequency noise in my ears. i thought it was tinnitus at first. It's been there since yesterday morning. I tried to plug my ears to sleep and that's when I realized that it was coming from inside my head. Can anyone tell me if this is really tinnitus or it some other sign? Can anyone put light on this topic please?

I'm not a Dr, but was trained in hearing loss, I think tinnitus is a higher pitch ringing.

I cannot find the link I read this on, but it was not actually in Alabama. It was Selma, Fresno (California).

This was misreported apparently initially as Alabama

Fresno has a high percentage Sikh population apparently

And it looks like maybe more to do with carjacking than hate, although could be combination. Sikhs are probably known as a wealthy community there too
