Thanks bro for sharing the above verse.
Even though off-topic, did you observe a mistake in the third line above?
It should say - The one who spoils/destroys others works, through back-biting.

I too don't claim of having much knowledge of Gurbani Grammar. Nowadays, I am reading books of jeevan of Mahapurush rather than Gurbani Grammar related books.
However, you can ask your question. If Daas knows something, will tell.

Veerji, I suggest you listen to Sukhmani Sahib in Kirtan form. Even if you don't understand any meanings, listen to it. There have been so many gursikhs who were illiterate but still reached a high spiritual state just by listening to Paath from gursikhs and repeating Vaheguru with every breath.
"Dookh Rog Santaap Utre Suni Sachi Baani"
Sufferings and Pains leave when one listens to Dhur ki Bani.
One more suggestion, when I didn't know how to read Punjabi, I just learned the letters and tried to recognize them and learn their sound. Then I used to listen to Paath of Bhai jarnail singh Damdami Taksal with Gurbani being displayed on my phone. In one year, I was able to read Sukhmani Sahib fluently. It took me nearly 1 hr 20 mins to complete it in one sitting.
I suggest, try to learn the gurmukhi letters and then LISTEN to Sukhmani sahib with Gurbani in front of you.
Here is the link of Kirtan with Hindi transliteration and second one Sukhmani sahib Paath.

I never said that people from previous three yugs weren't liberated. Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave them their darshan.
Eg: Bhagat Dhroo Ji. After immense meditation on KIRTAM NAAM, he still couldn't get darshan of Vaheguru. Finally he decided that he wouldn't eat anything until he received darshan. Seeing his thirst and devotion, Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave him his darshan and gave him Amrit.

Simple as that. Vaheguru has given you a perfect body. Every miniscule of it is perfect. Whosoever alters his/her appearance through facial products, makeup, cutting hairs etc is doing bajjar qurehit. You are saying, "Hey Vaheguru, YOU have made me ugly. I need to cut my hairs or else noone's gonna marry me. I can't get a job because of these. So it would be better if you do something or else I am gonna cut these!"
Even those non Sikhs don't have any idea by what they have done by cutting their hairs. Whosoever violates Guru sahib's hukam will be punished.
Thank you Guru Gobind Singh Ji, you introduced us to Sikhi or else jamdoots would have fried us in hot oil and make our pakodas.lol

Though I am currently not married and right now, in my age, we need to focus on studies and try to balance out our Paath Simran and study life. I can't say anything because I haven't been in that situation.
However, in a life partner, I would only be concerned about her Rehat and bhagti and family background (their love and cooperation towards Sikh principles in case they are non Sikhs). Beard isn't much of a concern for me. Manmukhs get in 'love' by only seeing outer appearance. However, gursikhs see the inner appearance.

First of all Dass would like to welcome you onto this great website. You are very similar to me as when dass started to do learn gurbani nitnem banis I always used english roman script then use a audio tracks to learn all of the sounds. Which is quite similar to how you described reading the bani in Hindi. There are a few really good apps which offer both punjabi and hindi versions of the banis.

You are on the right track and may Guru Sahib Ji do kirpa on you

@Trimandeep Singh may I know what would be your reaction if your wife would grow beard?  Apologies for asking this, just wanted to know.
If I would grow beard in future when I would be Amritdhari or in higher Sikhi spiritual state,  then  I would accept it happily. If it would be a issue at work or community,  then to make things easy for my family I would probably move to area with higher population of Sikhs.

True in a way bro. But one could argue all the Kakars represent a potential loss of income, we have to rely on hard work and Guru's Kirpa for what underlies our Maya.
Kalyug uses many forms of situational ethics to get us to concede bits of our integrity for Maya.
We must stay Nirmal to receive the continued Kirpa of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharajah, and pick our work and set our expectations and priorities appropriately.
It's okay if Bhenji is not at that place where she can handle that task. But the Rehit remains.
I'm no better. Having not taken Amrit yet, when my company rolled out an aggressive anti weapon campaign rather than try and stand up and argue my Shastar are Kakar I hide them in my bag on the clock. When I take Amrit I will begin carrying a new Kirpan openly and stand up for our rights, but I won't be looking for is a Jatha to tell me neglecting to carry Shastar on my person at all times is Rehit, or laugh at Rehit with my little manmind.
If a legitimate medical issue exists and is treated and the Kesh changes so be it.
But having more hair than your Ahankar likes is not a medical condition, it's part of the point. The Ahankar is the Rog not the Kesh.

Paapiman Ji, one of Guru Sahib's hukams under 52 hukams was not to trust a person who swears in the name of loved ones.
We may take it to the old context when Aurangzeb promised Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the name of Quran to let all Sikhs peacefully leave the fort and reach their destination but broke his promise.
But still, Rehat is universal and not bound to time. We still are to follow 52 hukams sincerely (I am a fool and don't claim to be rehitvaan but all Sikhs have to follow hukams of guru sahib).
A Sikh should neither believe in 'Kasam' nor practice this himself.
One funny thing came in my mind just now. When I was totally strange to Sikhi and a pure Manmukh (still I am), me and my friends used to steal pens and leadpencils of our classmates in school when they were a new trend and if we were suspected, we would immediately say "If I'm lying, me or my family will die!" and they would leave us.😂😂  We knew that it was just falsehood and no truth. We gathered a large collection in name of God though. Today, I regret doing that when I had Singh with my name. Anyways, main point is 'Kasam' is brahmanvaad.

Bhai Sahib, if that disease acts as a hindrance in bhagti then I don't think using medical technology to cure the disease or whatever will be against guru Sahib's hukam. We need to understand the play of Karam system under hukam of Vaheguru Ji.
Some babies can be born with unusual body parts as a result of less care taken by mother or any other injury to mother or it may happen even though everything went right.
In the first case, the injury was a result of 'sir mathe' karams and since the Karam has been exhausted, the child can be treated. However the mother needs to accept this as a will of God. In second case, the unusual parts of baby was a result of 'sir mathe' karams of this life and the Karam has been exhausted because he has been born with it. The treatment of child is a reaction to the karam.
In the case of bibi, large facial hair growth is result of previous karam and her reaction to this should be acceptance and not doing 'chherh chharh' with body, because then it would be disrespect to Vaheguru Ji that your creation is not perfect.

What? So you are saying cutting/removing hair from any part of your body is not allowed to any Sikh except those who have more facial growth than normal?
Are you serious? And yes, a bibi who doesn't remove facial hairs is very chardikala bibi because she actually cares about Khushi of Guru Sahib and not kalyugis.

Bhenji, can you please clear that you want hair removal because of some medical problems (surgery, skin medicines etc) or you fear you looking odd amongst many?
If there's any medical problem, then I don't think it would make you a qurehtia. But doing a sehaj Paath for maafi will be recommended.
If it's the second case (fear to face people) then my previous post has answered your question.

Bhai sahib, it's just a consequence of large hair growth, more than normal women. Just like handicaps or people born in poor households, these hair growth problem is a result of bad karams that the bibi will be made a fun of by this kalyugi duniya.
The bibi needs to accept this bhaana. Some people are born with unusual body parts. So, they are also not supposed to have these. But they need to accept this.
But, how even a question can be raised? When Guru Sahib has clearly said dishonouring the hair is a bajjar qurehit then no instances and situations need to be mentioned.
    Hairs can't be removed/cut, simple.

In many gutke, ਭੂਪਤਿ is written as ਭੂਪਤ which is misprint.

If the photos of guru sahib (fake or real, whatever) remind us of guru sahib then why can't we also make a murti of guru sahib which resembles the one Baba Nand Singh Ji approved?
If a photo can, then the murti can also remind us of Guru sahib. But if people start bowing to it, do you think it will be tolerated by Jathedars? We proudly say that Sikhism is free of empty rituals.
