  1. Why would anyone care if theres water there or not? It doesn't matter. People who believe in rituals and superstitions care too much about details like that instead of focusing on whats important.
  2. True. Racism still exists around us, apparently during covid, hate crimes against asians heightened dramatically in the UK. It's good to start speaking out against it, it only takes a few people to start the hate and it can spread rapidly as it did in nazi germany. Quite worrying. Look at the indian government and how their rampage against sikhs over the decades. Calling Sikhs terrorists all over their censored news channels through the farmers crises was horrible, after all of their crimes against Sikhs.
  3. A mother loves her child unconditionally, even if the're a plonker. The respect level just differs. He loves unconditonally. Some bhagats become so after janams and janams of sinning. Noone is perfect, everyone is the Same, just on different stages of their journey's. God is the great forgiver, don't forget people such as Sajjan Thug the serial killer who became a Bhagat. It's the law of Truth that we reap what we sow. It doesn't mean He's being judgemental of us. We have been given freedom of choice. Tell me how many times have you messed up in the 5 thieves of lust, anger, greed, envy and jealousy, ego and attachment? Are you perfect? All is perfect and all is Karam. "Seriously? We are in the Bandhan of Lakh Chaurasi and Maaya. Only those Bhagti waala Mahapurush are free of Maaya." Maya is an illusion, it's not real. If you really claim to follow and believe in Gurbani, then you would humble yourself enough to acknowledge that Parbrahm is everyone, everything, everywhere, and that there is only One. It's a khel, a game. When you start to see beyond duality, you begin to stop getting sucked into it. It's One, the demon, the angel, the good and bad, its all Nothing, an illusion, just Truth, God. We are Nothing, we are noone to judge when all is karam/ hukam.
  4. Why would He love people more who do naam jaap if He Is All. You're not seeing beyond the illusion. This entire khel is love, Truth is Love. He doesn't judge and we are noone to judge, everyone is on their own path and stage of learning as per karam. We are already free, He's already all. The way to live beyond the illusion to accept that we are all just Sinners, that we are Nothing, as the Gurus did, that we are the lowest of the low, apply gurbani and then we're being real. Otherwise we are in ego. The Gurus saw God in their enemies and served moghuls water after they were trying to kill the Gurus army beforehand. The judgemental fools who fight each other in gurdwarras over petty egotistical matters are noone to listen to or follow.
  5. As the others have said on here, after 12.30am is the most powerful time to start naam simran. Do it for at least 30 mins, but 2.5 hrs is good. Listen to anhad naad, relax and let the samadhi take you, you will start going deep into it. Lessons you learn in your samadhi, apply them to your everyday practical life. The aim is go deep into the samadhi and stay grounded in Truth in the day. Don't lie, not even a white lie, speak the Truth, do good for yourself and others, have no anger or enmity. You will begin to experience the Truth of the world around you. Read gurbani and do bandgi, apply it to your life and you will walk down the path. If you fall, learn the lessons, make sure you don't make the mistake again and keep walking. The path is never ending, but it's one of love. Respect life aswell, live, enjoy and experience your life beyond the b/s of the five theives.
  6. Because alot of them are bad people and heartless. More good people should start getting ivolved and questioning the governements on these issues. The way it was handled by the Canadian Governement has been unacceptable.
  7. He's a brave man. It shows how strong people can be. Native Indians were treated so badly, for someone to just come and invade somones land within itself is horrific, then force them to go to a school with such horrific abuse is hell. It was awful that survivors said that some of their parents were sent to that school and abused, and still sent their children there after, knowing they would be abused. And the american media had the nerve to make fun of them after all they were put through through movies and television. Very sad, the karma of those who abused them will come around, it always does.
  8. This is awful. The governement should have known, what kind of government doesnt keep tabs on a school like that, especially where children were going missing. How disgusting. Governments should be monitoring schools strictly and ensuring that no child in care is ever be abused. Unfortunately many government officials are involved in child abuse as history has shown, there needs to be a change.
  9. Rituals and superstitions are not a part of Sikhi. Noone cares if theres a jug of water there or not and if someone does, theyre a fool.
  10. Hi. Read Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It's Truth. Gurbani teaches that there is in reality no religion only one, No Hindu No Muslim, only One was Guru Nanaks teaching. It teaches the Truth thats the core of all of the major religions but without the rituals and superstitions. Many teachings have also become corrupted over time so the Gurus were sent to teach Sat in its purity. If you read, accept and apply the gyan in practice in everyday life, you will start to learn more and move on the bhagti path. It's a neverending path and is one of love and purity.
  11. I've seen high level sants who have been slandered for not covering their heads. They are without a doubt saints, but the fools throw rocks at them for their external appearance ignoring the internal. Guaranteed if Guru Nanak came to earth now, head uncovered, sikhs would attack him with full force. The fools dont understand that its the inner purity that counts. A mahapurakh much of the time will take the form of a humble householder as Guru Nanak or can come in the form of a being dressed as a King as Guru Gobind was. I would advise you to look beyond the exterior, and ask God for guidance. Read Guru Granth Sahib Ji, if the person is speaking in line with it, then okay. But be careful because they are very few and far between right now, I only know of one on earth atm. If I were in your position, I would just trust Guru Granth Sahib Ji and take its word as Truth. The teachings have come directly from the Gurus themselves and it's all thats really needed. You just need to read, understand, apply and have faith. The gyan/ teachings have been lived by the Gurus themselves in action.
  12. Black magic cant harm someone who practices Naam. Just like slander cant stick to a soul who accepts themselves to be nothing, black magic can't touch a being who accepts theyre the same. In humility practing naam, it can't harm you, you've realised its an illusion as is everything and everyone with an image.
