Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Sadh Sangat Ji, As many of you will be aware the stronghold of Youth in Sikhi is ever increasing, and we here in Leicester, UK would like to continue this, and preserve as much of the Sikh Youth thought as we can. We've grown to know and love Sikhi through Sikhi Nights, and once upon a time, Khalsa Camp Leicester. - Too much time has gone since these events, and as I was once told, by an American lady, if WE don't take care of our Sikhi now, she and her faith will take care of it for us - she is right. We ourselves risk losing Sikhi - FOREVER. So - it's time now for us, the YOUTH of SIKHI to take the blessing of our father, Dashmesh Pita, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and continue the works that some of our panths "leaders" have forgotten. We're looking to introduce a new Youth Campaign for us, The Youth to organise events for The Youth. We will be holding a meeting this Saturday 9th October 2004 at 6PM at Guru Tegh Bahadhur Gurudwara, 106 East Park Road, Leicester (FED ROOM) We invite any member of the Sikh Youth who feels they can devote time and effort for the seva of preserving our Sikhi, educating ourselves and ensuring that non of us forget what an amazing religion we are born into - through the youth of today. The meeting is a non-committal induction to the current ideas/issues and plans the Leicester Youth wish to bring to the forefront of our Gurudwara's. (PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT COMMITEE or POLITICS BASED) - We're not interested in any running of the Gurudwara Sahib's but are simply 100% committing and devoting ourselves to preserving our Sikhi through Seva by the Youth. Anyone who is interested can come along and decide for themselves whether you would like to be a part of this new Campaign.
