  2. Bit of Whiskey or Brandy at bedtime helps reduce excess mucus/phelegm. PLEASE, no moaning about the morality of sikhs not allowed to drink or not. Sikhs are the heaviest drinking community in Britain (check with your local NHS doctor). So most of us shouldn't have a problem with this advice.

  7. Mr? Singh47 , when a soul reaches such a state of enlightenment, they shed all these tags og which religious denominations they belong to, what language, sect or sex they are. Those souls appeal to all who are willing to accept their teachings. Prem does not discriminate, it is not exclusive to any groups.

  12. Ref: singh 47 and his sarbloh blade. don't fret about wat the blade is made, what is important is that it is used for the right purposes: 1. phett karnii during ardas/bhog or 2. defence of self or others. no other reason as far as i know!!!
  13. Ok ....so what is the difference and/or significance? Do sikh modern soldiers still salute the same way? (I am not 'complaining' BTW , just wish to know more!)
  14. Also, some of you may have seen pics of British Sikhs soldiers during WW2 giving the 'Nazi salute' tho the GGS in the field. Now considering thelinks between Nazi symbolism and Indian cultue (svastika, arya etc), does anyone know wether this type of salute have any indian history to it???
  15. Just a quick note@ the pics you see of sikhs in jerry uniforms of the ww2, are just that; none of those men are wearing Waffen SS uniforms , who were the hard core Nazi's. Incidently. you might want to know that under Hitler (before WW2 started) there was a large military regiment called the Brandenberger's. These ppeople were fieriously loyal to the Nazi state/government and consisted of Jews, gypsies and other ethnic communities and groups.
