  1. I think it is a reference to water-dwelling predators. I am not sure though, I think the bani may be telling us that God saves us from diseases, sorrows, and these stated water-creatures (i.e. by giving us land to live on?). Like I say I am not sure on this one, perhaps someone wiser can comment, but this is what I have taken it to mean whether correct or incorrect, hopefully we will find out soon on this thread.
  2. "However, the undisputed fact remains that original Khalsa was ALL Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa (for a full account, please see ‘Pracheen Panth Prakash’ written by Shaheed Rattan Singh Bhangu)." This does not seem to correlate with the beliefs of the authors of a certain website made by some Singhs of the UK ( I assume this is the same as that which you refer to, but to be clear, I make refrence to www.sarbloh.info) The following link would perhaps be an adequate illustration of the point I'm trying to make. http://www.sarbloh.info/htmls/article_whoiskhalsa2.html How can it be the case that the original Khalsa was all Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa, when the term Khalsa is clearly suggested to apply beyond the realms of the Akali Nihangs? The following quote from the said site sums it up rather succinctly: "Within the Sanatan Sikh world, numerous Nirmala, Udasi and Seva Panthi Sahejdhari (non-Amritdhari) Khalsa Sikhs flourished"
  3. There are more threads on the Sikh Sangat link too that suggest the first posters comments were totally biased and a grossly inaccurate interpretation of events. It's so unfortunate people feel the need to be the first to spread gossip, and in the process neglect their duty to wait for facts and evidence. Worse still, they have the audacity to name people over the internet to further an apparent agenda of hatred, without any regard of the consequences of such an act. Perhaps the admins should also remove the name quoted in the first post, as it seems irresponsible to leave it on the thread.
  4. Dunno about all this, doesn't seem very black or white at all, we really should wait for REAL facts to come out before commenting on this I think.
  5. There is also a thread about this issue on sikhsangat website, where someone who describes themselves as an eye-witness has posted. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?showtopic=15030
  6. My sentiments exactly. Does anyone know yet if this incident and the one reffered to on panthic.org are the same? N30 Singh, where did you get your information from bhajee? Your post also suggests a serious assault. Does anyone know what exactly happened yet? Is it the same as what the panthic.org article is describing? Regardless, I think that if this is as serious as described, action should be left to the police, and we should not resort to throwing names about over the net. Please people, think before making such errors. What if the family of the chap you mentioned were assulted as "revenge" for this because of your naming and shaming, based solely on your indication of the stated individual? Do you really think that would be constructive??
  7. http://www.panthic.org/news/124/ARTICLE/1968/2005-11-12.html Is this story related to this incident, or totally seperate?? I know the given web publication is not the most favoured of reading material for users of this site, but was just wondering if this reffered to the same scenario as that described by Jungee.
  8. I really cant see how you could be so careless to post and demand the alledged "attackers" be "named and shamed" without providing evidence. You say "Everything got caught on security Cameras and CCTV, and most of the attackers have been identified." For this reason the naming and shaming will be done anyway will it not? And these people will be judged by the law if the scenario you described is accurate. Also, what you have written appears to be very sensationalistic and emotive in nature. Use of "most of the elderly men who were in the 70’s and 80’s got rushed to hospital, for very serious injuries" makes it sound as though 70-80 year olds were systematically targetted and few were spared this supposed attack, as the use of the word 'most' would suggest. Would it not be better to wait for proof before naming and shaming? Or if the stated individual and others have been identified as you suggest, perhaps it would make sense to just allow the media to name and shame them as they no doubt would. Besides, if these people are so well known as your statement "Most of you will know who they are," suggests; then why is there such urgency to "name and shame"? If that is the case, then surely naming and shaming would serve no puropse.
  9. Maybe your mouse is positioned at an uncomfortable distance. You may want to sort that out.
  10. If their food is indeed blood and flesh, I can understand them being attracted to meat eaters, but why the connection with alcohol??
  11. If you're not aware I was being sarcastic.
  12. "Some have been misled into becoming Muslim, Sikh or Hindu fanatics and want to fight their brothers (like you). " Where exactly is it you know me from to make this judgement my Punjabi brother? Labelling people fanatics is not very brotherly. Additionally, your use of language is quite disgusting. I will avoid posting here again, and leave the thread for you to spread whichever haterd it is you wish to spread. May Waheguru grant you the peace of mind to lose such hatred taht has infested you.
  13. Hmmmm.......the BNP and NF are fans of repatriation, maybe you should talk to them.
  14. So, remind me again...who's mum is it we're blaming for everything??
