  1. i do not really agree with above argument that since its for serious seekers and also sikhs does not automatically make them fully knowledgeble about punjabi. there are serious seekers who do not know punjabi very well and try to understand. its a non issue for majority of us but i know few people struggling like hell to make sense of things when there is typos like this. I'm not really nitpicking here. All i'm saying is correction is required since i do not have that book i've no clue to inform that publisher there's a typo there. Whatever is wrong is wrong. mloco how is ward is guru a true statement? its incorrect translation of actual gurbani. i can replace it by sun rises from east too and its true statement does not means thats correct translation of gurbani tuk there.
  2. thanks for explaination karamjeet. i've no problem asking help from guruji for anything. Thats his job and our job is to ask. But the whole process of taking hukum until you get prasanta vaak is fooling your own self. Whats the whole point anyways then? you're already determined to get some happiness from guru sahib so lets not take hukum at all and just pray that guruji plz take care of your son. Thats all is needed.
  3. with time the fire would burn automatically. you cannot expect tree to bear fruit when you've done only few things for example plough the fields and watered it for sowing seeds. Have you sown seed? if so then protect it from birds and water it timely. If you have questions like this always note the examples given in gurbani theyre good source of understanding. hope that helps
  4. on the first slide it says the ward is guru . i wish they did proof reading before publishing. Now tell me how meaning ful is that line for a non-punjabi speaker? it should be the word is guru not ward. This kind of typos piss me off to no extent. it defeats whole purpose of spreading the message.
  5. okay i do not want to sound harsh here, some of the above explaination about prasanta(happiness?) or tadna(no idea what does that means) is sounding ridiculous to me. Also someone wrote he/she does not knows meaning of khuaar = ruined. coming back to topic here. The hukamnama should not be taken the way you guys are doing it. The guru's hukum is atal if you do not get it your problem. sit down and try to understand it, do not rush , patience is the key. Guru's hukum always bring peace and happiness maybe you do not see it immidiately. Maybe you do not want to hear what guru has to say. Also note that if hukum is of happiness it DOES NOT means guru is happy to solve your problems. Read the hidden message in whole verse. It might be saying you IF YOU MEDITATE all your problems would be solved. Taking hukum second time is okay incase you do not understand first hukum properly even after few tries. hope that helps but again i'm assuming alot of things in this post. would be good idea if someone please translate tadna and prasanta in english!!
  6. i think hollywood actors have more ojas than some oily pehalwan in india , please no offense its mostly true. beauty comes from humility and love not from holding semen in your body. also what should women be holding? do you agree in that terms that women is inferior to men physically, same like saadu's believe?
  7. most of things written in top article is not practical and written outta ignorance. i've seen celibate are easy to be irritated and full of ego. what this article forgot to mention is semen would come out during sleep at night. semen stays within body when dasam dwar is open until then you may try million times to keep it inside body it would come out(natural law) also remember tantra tells you many ways to ejaculate and yet not let out semen, try that if you are so fussy about being celibate. it works! you can recycle most of the energy within your body instead of letting out. also note that gurbani tells that mukti comes through gurukirpa and naam not from doing yogi monkey tricks
  8. beautiful and it shows how we're busy calling people amritdhari, non-amritdhari, jathewale etc etc. everyone pretends to be better than other
  9. if physical thing does not affect spiritual thing then how come eating affect spiritual thing. for instance why is so much fuss about veg/non-veg. perhaps the truth is apart from all such theories
