  2. aji veerah when a house is made the foundations r constructed for vital reasons, we cant build a wall or a ceiling with no support. i believe the inner rehat wud be the most important first to build ur spirit castle towards god, u have everything to gain from it like a fruit tree , u have phals to gain from it even if u stayed a mona but did ur paat and naam u will benefit then not to do bani and meditation of naam at all.. however i feel ur hair will come to u as the bani will talk inside ur heart and guide u in ur stages of life, i was a mona too :-). But if u was to grow ur hair out of a guilt concious how long wud that last rather than focusing on meditation first with laser like intensity on the shabads guru sahib has given? whatever step we take in dharm terms we shud feel happy and walk with strentgh and conviction, if we were to put ourselves down how capable wud we feel to get up and do somethin? the shahidi of gurus and sahibzadey are unparraleled in history they were outta this world big up parnaam to them forever and ever. meditation, love god, love others, help urself, the answers will come to ur heart bro cos that is the seat of god inside each heart, He will help u in all ur steps even if u r a mona, ur day will come.. look at bhai rama singh ji he had a vision of guru gobind singh ji while he was mona.. i know a pakistani muslim guy who had darshan of guru nanak while he was a mona and now hes kesdari.. dont get me wrong im not saying stay as u r, but ur still a sehadari sikh on ur path if ur doin ur paat, and being a mona do not number one feel bad about the way u r..jus think of spirituality like a ladder. the very term sikh = disciple or learner.. thast the family house ur born into veer ur blessed with.
  3. i reckon jus do ur paat, naam, try to learn up stuff shabads, n other banis, be a gud human, see god shining throughout the whole of creation, do things to benefit ur spirit and gods creation around u , dont matter if ur mona for now.. then when the time is right ur hair will come, most important is to have the inner rehat first i believe and love for god and humanity be selfless and humble..otherwise i know loads of people in paghs n beards doin things they shudnt b which is a paap to the sacred image. and some others who portray this sikhi image who wont even take parshaad or langar from the gurdwara, but somehow find their way to a pizza hut on a friday nite.

Belief the Akali blue uniform is, ‘Shiv Sroop’ (ie. the very form of Shiva)” " does shiva here refer to shiv shakti ( mind over matter) or shiva as in the demigod?? if it refers to demigod then is there a pankti in sggs about the belief of shiva demigod and akalis wearing blue uniform???
  5. i dont know the answer to any of indys question exept one.. asking if anyones experienced it seen it etc.. ive seen it work, had it practiced on me and it is deadly, i cant comment on anyone elses ghatka nor can i knock any other martial arts of compare, but its deadly and does end with death blows (if used for real n not in practice) as the owner says. im sayin this without bein on any side.. about the jujaaroos we r sittin in uk how can we comment who took part in struggles in a thirld world country like india?? there mite have been nihungs in des movements in bakgrounds , maybe not we dont know we cant say for definate and also i thought nanaksar people didnt take part in defence in the indra ghandi pogroms simply cos i didnt hear about it, den i was told they did by a reliable source defending a gurughar like 5 against 300 rioters..whether that happened or not god knos, we r here but den we shudnt be knocking each other shud we? no ones better no ones ever gonna be better.. nihungs taksaal akj exist for a reason its gods will ders nothing we can do about it..each one have a bright history, look outside ur window we got more shtyte to worry about, our youth goin away, girls runnin off wid members of other religions, etc etc, why dont we combine our efforts and resolve to sort the mess out we face?? can that energy bein expanded on issues like these be rdirected to sort the external mess out we face?? meat sukha etc thats nex mans belief u cant do nuffin about it, if u believe naam helps u aleviate all pains ( which i do too) thats all gud but whatever else someone else does they will give their account in nex world like u yours.. to those who think its precisely these schools of thoughts or diffs that make the mess, but then these have existed throughout time, ie taksaaal have a history upto guru sahib, den so do nihungs, so do nanaksar upto nirmalas. Guru gobind singh didnt just bless the khalsa in 1699 hes blessed hindus and muslims 2 so what to say of these diff schools of thought?.
  6. hindus have been waiting for a neklanki avtar that was predicted in their books when the moghuls came, they lost summit like 10s of millions of hindus in the process, their land, human rights, women, culture, language.. now look at asia the whole composition has changed.. sau sakhis also mention a bhai ude singh coming again, but again if sikhs r predicted to come under foreign rule under the prevailing circumstances of 1800s anyway then that wud mean at some point the sikhs and rulers wud clash as sikhs upheld dharm which wud mean if sikhs were targetted with genocides or indirect methods, someone wud rise among them anyway... and a lot of the symptons mentioned r happening but say for example today drugs r ruining communtiies, what wud u predict in another 10 years it gets worse if it continues to be a trend.. gays r advertised on tv nowdays, i c blokes n lessies holdin hands left right n centre in my town.ive even heard ders gays who claim to be sikh. wiuth the current trends of advertising it as ok, gay bars opening, peoples minds changing wudnt we predict this erosion to get worse if we say what do we think wud happen in 50 100 200 yars from here???what we r doin is looking at the present state based on that assuming what mite happen.. guru gobind singh taught us to be realistic with a get up n go attitude to take our future destinies into our hands but wudnt sau sakhis hold us bak from that as the hindus were held bak to thsi day after suffering 1000 years???
  7. i used to love qouting from sau sakhis, believeing in what they sed, as it appeared "things wud get worse before they get betta" seeking an answer to the probs in sikhs.. its only recently ive questioned myself now im like wat was i on?? eg, looking at the state of things we can make predictions rite here n now, the early day sikhs may have been top noch peeps in dharm, but in 1800s u may have had da bad apples wid da panjabi raj, its not too hard to predict then if dharm is decreasing in people, eventually they will become religionless, chilled out lak of values no barriers when choosing their partners, ie girls wid muslims quoted in 1 sakhi, and sikh guys with goris with no shame in another.. the 10 gurus taught us not to believe in precitions, yet i still did when i was swayed by sau sakhis now ive asked myself y wud guru have told us not to?? if u look at hindus they suffered for 1000s years of loss, torture, anguish at the moghuls mercy, their confidence was gone, they were left resigned to their fate... now lookin at da panjabi raj how hard is it to predict it wud have fell once maharaja ranjit singh went when no preperations were made to carry it on??? n were khalsas increasing or decreasing at that point? wudnt that mean cunning external powers move in creating subjects out of sikhs?? then wudnt we then become resigned to our fates when we suffer hardships as sikhs wud have been at the forefront of struggles hence the most likely targets?? water shortages, starvation, disease were perpetrated by the invading aryans on the dravidians in ancient times , its nothing new happened 5000 years bc, so if u got thse power monopoly holders dont u think it cud be done again very easily? but added into writings that appear religious yet saying yes it will happen but the end an avtar will come to sort it out?? so what happens to the reader? hes sitting there waiting after goin through hell? then saying its our karm?
  8. i dont know much about nihungs i went through the site, i loved da warrior side of it, da only ting dat hurt me was da calling of shaheed singhs of 78 as "fanatics" dey died for tha panth when narkhdari baba stepped on sggs, how does that make anyone a fanatic?? shaheeds gave their jaans for summit they loved...and nindia of sikhs shudnt b done cos imagine ur like a person who wants to know sikhi den u see des divisions whats da hopefuls gonna think??? remember a lot of our youth and external people , imagine what it looks like 2 parties wearing dastaars ghatras both look teadional sikhs at each odas throats... i think nihings and akj shud jus both accept der both existing due to guru sahibs kirpa, stay out of each others ways n call this whole friction ting a stalemate, n drop der differences... i dont eat meat, but if next nihung eats meat his gonna give his account if he drinks sukha hes gonna give his account for what he does and me for mine.. whats da point sittin here wasting our energies rucking each other??? ders no outcome nihungs obviously have got a whole lot of martial heritage, phyche, correct reading of dasam, to offer to the sikhs , and akj have a lot of spirit, naam drir, pyar for sikhi too.. nihungs n taksaal dont have a prob nor do akj n taksaal.. so pher ki gul ah?? all i wud ask niddar singh ustad ji is to kindly take off his site the bit on bhai randir singh and the labelliong of shaheeds as fanatics..._/_ benti pravah... i hope i havent offended any1 but internal pangeh at a time when dharm is goin down aint gud..even if u guys consider each other as dushmans i heard that guru gobind singh never had any gussa when he faced the people who tried to kill him but had total love for all even when he waved his sword there was no emotion of anger, shudnt we emulate our guru sahibs??
  9. reply to nihal kaur.. i havent read the whole thread i just caught summit about sant jarnail singh sed to have taken some " degh" i dont know if u mean shaheedi degh..if so den read on..although i got nuttin against nihungs dey part of the panth 4 me, i find it hard to believe sant ji took shaheedi degh when ive gone through some of his speeches which r listed below.. 1) "The manager of the Punjab & Sind Bank in Qadian is, I learn, a Sikh. In the letter to him is written: "You should come to such and such place on August 11, 1983 with 300,000 rupees and you will be safe. Otherwise, I have Bhindranwala's permission to put you on the train (of death) on such and such date. You have the Sikh appearance; you should stoutly support us; bring a liberal amount." This is what is written in this letter. We have to guard ourselves against such people. To give a bad name, to place obstructions in the conduct of this ongoing agitation, the Government is going to use every possible trick. We ought to be fully alert to these. This Taksaal has never believed in robberies, thefts, using intoxicants, nor does it believe now nor it ever will. 2) 'I have declared that if there is someone who drinks while wearing a kirpaan, and you catch him drunk, the punishment I have announced is that you should get him examined by a doctor (to make sure he has been drinking) and then pour kerosene over him and burn him alive. I shall fight your court case. This is regardless of the party affiliation of the person in such a garb doing such a thing. My appeal to all is that no one should drink but this does not apply to the others, it is only for those with the kirpaan. ... If any raagi, sant, mahatma, granthi even if he is from Bhindranwale (group), who wears a kirpaan and drinks, wherever you find him, blacken his face, put a garland of old shoes around his neck, put him on a donkey and parade him throughout the village or the district.' 3) 'The noose will be put around the necks of the jathedars, the sants, the leaders, and people in responsible positions; around the necks of such of them as use intoxicants.' i hope i havent offended anybody..god bless ya all..
