jhatka and shikaar isn't practised just for food, it is practised as khstairya dharam and to make Singhs fearless and used to the sight of blood. Even then it doesn't really prepare you for the horrors you will see in a war! IF jhatka isn't practised, Singhs will do jhatka wrong and it will become phatka, which is against Nihang Singh maryada for consumption. Also supposed to know jhatka to be able to take enemies down with one blow!
Also at Kurukshetra, Guru Nanak was more concerned with the hypocrisy of the Brahmin being against meat being cooked on a sacred day, than actually being concerned with meat or veg 
Guru Angad dev ji used to have meat served to whole sangat for langar, and then the first time an exception was made was when Baba Amar Das joined langar and Guru Angad Dev ji found out that Baba Amar Das was hesitant for eating meat!

do these jatha groups who claim to follow sarbloh bibek follow it properly such as drinking water from a well? In Budha Dal, I think about jeevans such baba Surjit Singh used to keep Sarbloh bibek and it was only small numbers of Singhs who keep sarbloh bibek rehit. In Canada, due to lack of wells, some Nihang Singhs keep a different bibek. I know about naamdharis in India keeping Sarbloh Bibek and drinking water from a well only.
Anyone claiming to follow Sarbloh Bibek without using water from wells is lying to us!!!
Havan is actually mentioned in Dohira read with Brahm Kavach. Jhatka and shikaar is maryada encouraged by Guru Hargobind Sahib and Guru Gobind Singh.
As evidenced from their youtube channel,  Gurmat bibek does not have a strict rehit for reading Chaupai Sahib bani and read Kabyo Baach Benti Chaupai in the same shankawadi manner as most of the rest of AKJ and also same as the minimum found in SGPC maryada. If a sikh does shanka on dasam bani and cannot even complete kabyo baach benti before Arril, and makes excuses such as the bentiyaan already being finished, then what good are trying to be strict on some other rehits? These groups think it's ok to butcher Chaupai Sahib and Raagmala because they follow vegeterianism!
The fact that they dress up as Nihang Singhs yet are not prepared to give respect to Chaupai Sahib bani as true bana wearers like Budha Dal and Tarna Dal, that is insulting and admin cut behaviour.

Only way I see to get Khalistan, or even land and influence in India, outside of the countries failing and us getting it, is we have to repatriate Punjab, have a consensus based shadow government, and start buying farm land. Putting five mobile homes, a well, a septic system, and a tesla power wall on each one. This model requires one Sikh with enough money to get each low cost plot started. Bought outright, or financed sustainably on their income alone, or close to it. 
No permanent structures, no bulding permits. 
Then we move Sikhs into all five mobile homes. Farm, train, etc. The landowner Sikh charges a lower rent than available elsewhere. Takes some of it for Langar and upkeep, and puts the rest into a fund for each of the other four families. Transparently and according to structure. 
When their accounts reach a certain amount, they're given that fund to buy their own plot and repay the Paanth buy helping four other families get land. 
In this way we grow Bungas of five Singhs or five families each, while we govern ourselves internally and get a unified stance on things. In the family version, only some members work full time, some part, some not at all. Everyone sells products from the farm to get fund money. In the single men version, the men work part time nearby, or full time in a way that let's them train a lot still. Single men version requires less housing structures. If their plot is really rural they use online business, farm and textile trade from the land, or commute to work seasonally in rotations. 
We use our internal power, and representatives, to interact with worldly politics as we establish, grow, convert, ally and gain influence, and farm land back, with a model that gets more and more land, not a model that gets destroyed when inherited and over split, and not a model that leaves all but one son landless. Rehao. Lol.
I mean this is really really doable by any family or individual who has a modern educated income. Buy cheap farm land. Put a well, septic and preferably off grid power. And let people live there and help for cheap. And put most their monetary contribution into buying them the same basic thing. Keep the overhead low. Half in the world half out.  Repeat. 
111 percent of this Paanth should own Khalisland all over the world.

Some sewaks of sants do take some sort of charan pol amrit. However I am unsure if they do it more out of respect than as an initiation, ie just drinking from the feet of sants. But it seems to have originated from charan pol amrit.

The reason they can do it better than us is islam is faslesly based on the Bible.

How do I put this, people debate the trinity, the unity, etc.  All that focuses on who Jesus was.
