Your question is interlinked ...but ultimate destiny is NAAM........Naam is given only and only by true Guru..here I mean....Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji... Start reading Baani, then understanding it (listen to Katha of all baani's...if possible read Steeks)...then start following it......yes you need a meditation to do that...but try to concentrate while reading baani...think in mind the meanings of Baani while reading, reciting, and listening. Think that Guru Ji is listening when you are reading, reciting, and listening the baani along with you....This helps in controlling mind....but its really difficult and even I could not able to do it all time....mind needs a fraction of seconds to roam places other than baani..when trying to concentrate.......but never give up....one day Guru Ji will make it happen.....and gradually you will cover the path and ultimately Naam Daan will be given by Guru Ji........ The plan was announced by committee president Avtar Singh at a news conference following a meeting of executive committee at Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib. Singh said a five-member the committee was constituted for the purpose of purchasing land at the birthplace of Bhagat Kabir. In other committee decisions, Avtar Singh said the committee appointed three new granthees for Darbar Sahib: Gyani Gurbax Singh of the United Kingdom, Gyani Jaspal Singh of Ludhiana and Gyani Mann Singh of Talwandi Sabo. Avtar Singh said that the executive committee also decided to replace the automatic machine for making roti, installed near Guru Ram Das Langar, with a new machine that would prepare rotis without yeast. Avtar Singh also said that a five-member committee had been formed to investigate the recent incident of burning of birs in village Taki of Jalandhar Cantt. The members are: Gyani Tarlochan Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Jarnail Singh and Gyani Rup Singh. An electrical expert will also be included with the group. The executive committee will also request the state government to make provisions in law that would increases imprisonment for unauthorized printing of the Guru Granth Sahib from six months to three years. The committee must authorize all Guru Granth Sahib birs.

CHANDIGARH: Even as the Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) claimed responsibility for the Vienna incident that sparked violence in Punjab, the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) has condemned the killing of Sant Rama Nand of the Dera Sach Khand. According to information posted on its website, the London-based Akash Radio said the KZF has claimed responsibility for the Sunday’s attack in Vienna. Claiming that it had received an e-mail, it said the message, written on the KZF’s letterhead, was signed by one Ranjit Singh. The KZF is said to have claimed that the incident occurred because “these people did not heed to the warnings that they should not disrespect Guru Granth Sahibji by sitting parallel to Sri Guru Granth Sahibji; letting people bow before them in the Guru Sahib’s presence and committing various unacceptable anti-maryada (Sikh code of conduct) acts. As they continued to commit such sins, the KZF was forced to take this action.” The Babbar Khalsa International, which figures on the U.S. list of terrorist organisations, has condemned the killing of Sant Rama Nand. Akash Radio claimed that the BKI chief Wadhawa Singh Babbar said in an e-mail that the entire Sikh Panth regretted the attack on Sant Niranjan Das and Sant Rama Nand. The e-mail said: “Everyone knows that this attack was not done by the Sikh Panth. Indian agencies are behind this attack; and they are trying to split the Ravidasiya community from the Sikh Panth.
