  2. This discussion should be framed in the overall context that to do seva is a privilege, and not a right. Too many make everything into a right these days. If either a man or woman go # 2 they have to wash before sitting in tabiya. If somehow, someway, it was only women that had to go #2, then the feminists would say that it is wrong to force women to wash before sitting at tabiya. Why? Truth is modern feminism has twisted peoples minds so that if some kind of gandhgi happens only to a woman, it is all of a sudden paviter in their minds! But if this same gandhgi happened to both genders, then they would accept that it is in fact apavitter. Why are women so special that their gandghi is pavitter, but a males is not? 2nd point, All sorts of gandhgi come from the body, but I think we can accept that some kinds are worse than others. 3rd, Even with sanitary pads etc, it still is coming out of the body. Similarly, if a man has to wear an adult diaper for incontinence etc, then he is also not able to sit in tabiya. No double standard here. Just double minded thinking that elevates the female form higher than the male form.
  3. Please correct heading .... RELATED instead of REALTED

SikhAwareness Board> The Lounge> Gurbani/ Gurmat or any spiritual realted poetry Discussions

  4. Would you be willing to share the speeches and paath on Gurmatveechar.com or some other website ji? I also strongly feel that the kathas on chritropakhyan done by Maskin ji and these mahapurkhs as well should be distributed for free at nagar kirtans to counter the propaganda that we've been seeing.
  5. Here's the first English teeka of Japji by Sant Teja Singh ji Mastauna wale: http://www.gurmarag.net/SikhAwareness/Text...eja%20Singh.pdf

    There are several on Gurmatveechar.com
  7. I've noticed before that you did engage in debate on this forum, then when it got too hot for you you disappeared. What's the point of debating when you don't engage in debate? Perhaps you're hoping people will simply get tired and stop rebutting your points? It is a simple matter of civility for you to respond to those who respond to your posts considering that you're the one who attacked their beliefs to begin with.
  8. May be a good idea to not be so quick to approve memberships. I think the approval process is automatic right now?? If the admin or a mod is required to approve membership that may cut down on the spam.
  9. Please provide proof. It is easy to criticize. Back up your implied assertion using Gurbani.
  10. Raj Karega Khalsa recording can be d/l'd from Gurmat Veechar website.
  11. Balbir Singh, request that you provide proof for the assertions made in the recording you attached in a NEW thread. Please try and keep this one on topic.
  12. As stated by the admin in a previous post, discussion on Chritropakhyan must take place in the appropriate thread. A number of posts from both sides have been deleted. Next time, maybe warnings will be given. Also, one liner nindya against Dasam Granth Sahib ji's bani will not be tolerated. You must back up your points with logic. You must also express your point in an appropriate civil manner. Even if you disagree with Chritropakhyan, Chaubis Avtar, Bachittar Natak, or whatever other composition, if you write against it, be aware of how you express your opinion. WE allow freedom of opinion on this issue here, but the manner of expressing one's opinion is not up for debate.
  13. is it also possible to upload these in audio only format?
