  2. This discussion should be framed in the overall context that to do seva is a privilege, and not a right. Too many make everything into a right these days. If either a man or woman go # 2 they have to wash before sitting in tabiya. If somehow, someway, it was only women that had to go #2, then the feminists would say that it is wrong to force women to wash before sitting at tabiya. Why? Truth is modern feminism has twisted peoples minds so that if some kind of gandhgi happens only to a woman, it is all of a sudden paviter in their minds! But if this same gandhgi happened to both genders, then they would accept that it is in fact apavitter. Why are women so special that their gandghi is pavitter, but a males is not? 2nd point, All sorts of gandhgi come from the body, but I think we can accept that some kinds are worse than others. 3rd, Even with sanitary pads etc, it still is coming out of the body. Similarly, if a man has to wear an adult diaper for incontinence etc, then he is also not able to sit in tabiya. No double standard here. Just double minded thinking that elevates the female form higher than the male form.
  3. Would you be willing to share the speeches and paath on Gurmatveechar.com or some other website ji? I also strongly feel that the kathas on chritropakhyan done by Maskin ji and these mahapurkhs as well should be distributed for free at nagar kirtans to counter the propaganda that we've been seeing.
  4. Here's the first English teeka of Japji by Sant Teja Singh ji Mastauna wale: http://www.gurmarag.net/SikhAwareness/Text...eja%20Singh.pdf

    Jap(u)

    There are several on Gurmatveechar.com
  6. I've noticed before that you did engage in debate on this forum, then when it got too hot for you you disappeared. What's the point of debating when you don't engage in debate? Perhaps you're hoping people will simply get tired and stop rebutting your points? It is a simple matter of civility for you to respond to those who respond to your posts considering that you're the one who attacked their beliefs to begin with.
  7. May be a good idea to not be so quick to approve memberships. I think the approval process is automatic right now?? If the admin or a mod is required to approve membership that may cut down on the spam.
  8. Please provide proof. It is easy to criticize. Back up your implied assertion using Gurbani.
  9. Raj Karega Khalsa recording can be d/l'd from Gurmat Veechar website.
  10. Balbir Singh, request that you provide proof for the assertions made in the recording you attached in a NEW thread. Please try and keep this one on topic.
  11. As stated by the admin in a previous post, discussion on Chritropakhyan must take place in the appropriate thread. A number of posts from both sides have been deleted. Next time, maybe warnings will be given. Also, one liner nindya against Dasam Granth Sahib ji's bani will not be tolerated. You must back up your points with logic. You must also express your point in an appropriate civil manner. Even if you disagree with Chritropakhyan, Chaubis Avtar, Bachittar Natak, or whatever other composition, if you write against it, be aware of how you express your opinion. WE allow freedom of opinion on this issue here, but the manner of expressing one's opinion is not up for debate.
  12. is it also possible to upload these in audio only format?
  13. What surprises me is some of the statements allegedly coming out from Kharkoo organisations condemning the attack. BKI thought it was a government setup. Another organisation claimed responsibility, then in another email, denied responsibilty. So... very hard to know what exactly happened. These are posted on Sikhsangat.
  14. A large number of off topic posts from multiple users were moved from various threads to the only five vs randip singh thread by myself. The sheer number of off topic posts and back and forth argumentation was (and once again is) ridiculous. There are currently 8 or 9 new completely off topic back and forth argument posts added since I last logged in, less than 12 hours ago. This is nuts, so I've decided to simply delete the tu tu mein mein style posts unless posted in that one thread. When people have an opinion backed up by evidence or an argument (on topic), I never delete the post. Just a general note, Any further posts of this nature from the posters involved in this will result in official warnings and eventually a ban if they don't stop.
  15. This thread is now peoples personal battleground to deal with whatever issues you wish to deal with (should you choose to participate in this thread). Any more off topic back and forth in other threads will result in deletion of the post and official warnings. Repeated off topic will result in a ban from the forum for a few weeks so people can cool off. Try to cool it with the slander.
  16. I assure you that only violations of forum rules were moderated from his posts. Absolutely 100% of his argument made it through, never have we removed anybody's argument to back up an opinion of thier's, or any evidence that they might have presented.
  17. Here is one of his posts on another thread: Thanks for the clarification on your stand. So you are saying Jaap Sahib is not bani than either? Do you at least accept that there are important elements of Sikhi contained in writings outside the SGGS such as in Dasam Granth, Bhai Gurdass ji's Vaars, Bhai Nand Lal ji's writings, and in the rahitnamas?? If so, which writings do you accept in whole, which in part only, and which do you reject entirely?
  18. The Khalsa Fauj, if you are going to reference something to back up your point you are required to provide at least an analysis (or link to a proper analysis). Your opinion without some sort of evidence or logical framework to back it up is not good enough here. Next time such things will be deleted without warning. Moderators have been extremely tolerant of you so far, but I think it is time to enforce rules more strictly for you b/c of your spam, off topic posts, and opinions which are merely attacks with no reasoning or evidence behind them.
  19. Their Naam simran is amazing. Could somebody please record it and share with the sangat? Maybe even request that he do an extended simran session?
  20. Thank you for your seva ji, we all appreciate it.
