  1. Could it be due to attitudes modern sikhs have formed which make them unemployable due to attitudes they have?
  2. Key thing is alot of sufis used al-taquia in dawah so the concepts of indic theology get mixed up as well. The view given above is the standard dogmatic view from Islam which has been built from Christianity.
  3. "Hhow many paths are there to God? There are as many paths to God as there are souls on Earth" - Rumi
  4. The khalsa raj is also recorded in bhai nand lal saj. The raj can only happen once all of punjab is under sikh rule properly it only takes a few people like in the past 1000 people to take over huge amounts of land when you do you can convert people in that land. Punjab is not in the hand of sikhs the people reflect the governing and it's direction as long as punjab remains in the hands of badal his family or the patialla kings sikhi will not have a future in that sense. Nor are the badal's ready to embrace in proper sikhi. Badals are chumars with no thinking about sikhi and should not be in power, the rulling faction should be proper sikhs standing on an international level. Otherwise all the jathas right now should win over the badals to listen to gursikhi, secularism should stand but not upfront. Once we have punjab we can go for other states.
  5. As for kabba, it is a temple ( a cube and there are many like it around the world with similar structure) which had idols inside some believe it used to be an ancient shiva temple. The kabba has had people stand on top of it, generally to do that to an idol is disrespect and to worship towards it is for unity of the muslim ummah. However there is something of idolatry done there which is kissing the black stone. There is a black stone attached to the kabbah - which some think is a shivling (shiva lingam) it is on the side of the kabbah and the prophet muhammad kissed it so others do so. As well as stoning a place where the devil came down. There alot of that theory on the internet here is one reference: http://www.gawaher.com/index.php?showtopic=734096.html& Also even some people claim an inscription inside of the ancient pagan kabbah to this Indian hindu king: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikram%C4%81ditya Namdharis also believe Guru Gobind Singh did havan. I know all of this discussion is out of peoples comfort zones and heretical but it is only a discussion nothing more. There are panthic sakhis which tell us guru sahib taught a lesson to a brahmin and called upon durga as the shastar but not is much said about him actually doing the havan. Havans are associated with vedic agni devta (fire diety) fire element being pure. Why zorostrains do it and zorostrains do not believe in creamation as they feel it is dishonour to the fire and don't do burials as they believe it disrespects earth element both have routes from the vedas.
  6. Bollywood is about who you sleep with to get to the top guess sofia will sleep with enough guys to get there as katrina did. I think more then 3/4 go clubbing maybe like 90% the 10% that don't are generally the ones that most guys don't find attractive also with some of those who gone clubbing after they slept around with a few guys they feel they need to take amrit wear a keski and act like a good girl most guys have gone down hill. Compared to goora we better because by the time goora and kaala are 16 they already been with 3 people. With us lots most upna loose there virginity by 18 if not 22. The rest just act cool and pretend like they have lost there virginity just to fit in with the crowd. Compared to muslims who wear hijabs they generally just give oral sex at 15 pretend like they are good girls. There are those 10% they panth is in them if not 5% in punjab it is just 2% of the entire population on the sikhi.
  7. Generally there is alot of bani speaking against idol worship as muslims did however muslims also were against fireworship as a useless ritual.
  8. Well Sheikh ibrahims name was sheikh farid as well they were reciting same bani and following the same path. I am not sure if he added further on to it like how guru arjan dev ji has added to the bani of guru nanak. http://www.hfoscillators.com/apskhanna/articles/BabaFarid_VicharJuly19A.pdf that document shows the bani which guru nanak adds more on to in reply. The bani of sheikh farid gives a way to meet God however Guru Nanak makes the path much easier. However I personally think sheikh farid has gone very divert from shairat that the path Guru Nanak gives has put the path more towards i.e. guru nanak gives the path of grist jeevan of still not hiding away in a jungle hanging himself upside down fasting till near death to have darshan. Guru Nanaks path was to live the house holder life, with honest living. The shariah is inclusive of these ideals to some extent the biggest difference would be concubines.
  9. Guru Nanak met Sheikh Ibrahim (who was a pir on the seat of pir sheikh farid) he was following that school of thought and sheikh ibrahim is said to have accompanied him. Guru Nanak after meeting akal purkh decided to help others to meet God he helped sheikh ibrahim on his path of wajat al whuud by dialogue about not fasting in a jungle and taking a middle way. Guru Nanak and Sheikh irbahim had much dilagoe and the bani of sheikh farid which sheikh ibrahim knew was recited before him which Guru Nanak was given and which later on Guru Arjan Dev ji incorporated into the add granth sahib.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnJnJ4nBKu0&feature=relmfu This guy has caused alot of problems someone needs to talk to him about changing his interpreation of his religion.
  11. I think our own sikhs would act in that kind of way. Plus she came home from a club I don't think alot of asian parents would be supportive of that decision those who do have no idea of honour. Honour is an eastern concept on of the west but has gone with time. Islam has ideas of punishments which are severe but so did ancient jeudo-christian laws which have evolved. Alot of muslims mainly pakistanis are stuck in the past so are alot of sikhs.
  12. VJKK VJKFji What is chandi di vaar about? Is it truely written by Guru Gobind Singh? There are hindus who say guru gobind singh ji did havan and chandi pooja and that vaar was that? Does this have some war significance? Further what/who is chandi? What/who is Durga? Is this shakti(ta) what does that mean male or female forms of God? And the signifcance of chandi to the nihangs there is some references to chand like in adh chand they wear, other aspects of the bana they relate to that aswell. http://www.youtube.com/user/kamalsingh00
  13. Something like Baba Nand singh's teaching can have a united effect if we could organize certain gatherings for even simran of ram and even through some katha of vedic references of ram and gurbani shabads of ram but this kind of thing goes more towards the radhaswami context which would not be easily accepted by sikhs primarily due to the bad relations the aryan samaj created with early singh sabha that goes on today. I don't understand why the aryan samaj kisses muslims ass but openly hate sikhs. Again I would say education would be a big factor in this to isolate the relations between hinduism and sikhism in a way which does not make it go into hindus manipulating it for there separtists viewpoints guru sahibs themselves said hindus and muslims are both satanic. Perhaps today sikhs have fallen into the same category it would take alot for people to come out of the materlisitic view and into gurmat. It is difficult because we also need strong speakers to engage these topics in english which will also take alot of research we need to do for those kind of lectures. Such as relations of the ramyan, vedas, gita, purans, sutras, all the bhagats of india and there relations so it also goes into background research of every diety of India and who they originally were before they got mukhti and presented themselves as a god or people presented them as a god kind of similar to how avesta did to all those indo-iranian dieites. Also we need to find out the original purpose of these mandirs how these places of worship were used in the past before brahmins turned them into something else were they places of havans or just meditation grounds.
  14. I would say there are still many sikhs who feel they are Hindu first so going to mandirs there are many sikhs going to mandirs today. I think the hatred goes far back in some respects I think we should actually stand up in many ways for aspects of hindu dharma many hindus don't understand hinduism and maybe we should present bhagat ramanand and the origins of vaishnism even which go against idol worship. To even write down accurate version of hinduism itself. Shivaism, bramnism, vaishnism, the 6 schools of thought, yoga (tantra), yoga, bhagti marag, shankarcharya, vedism origins of these theologies and how with time have become outdated for the modern world but for the sake of history document these. Sai Baba seems to have done the same thing as bhagat kabir ji. We can already now see pictures and murti of Guru Nanak already in mandirs from sindhis and punjabi hindus, there are pictures of guru sahibs in gurdwaras which was initially introduced by massands but they are not allowed by maryada. We should justify all these figures into proper context aswell. Such as durga who is chandi etc. And there have been many Rams and Shivas. Aryan samagists just believe worship should be done as havans while bhagati marag only do meditation and some yoga. These are universalistic teachings of dharma that can apply to any religion even for our next generations to understand the backbone of them would be nice before they disappear of the face of the planet and people don't even remember what they are about. Perhaps we can document how all these hindu practices came about like mainstream of hinduism has taken figures out of the puranas and started to worship them.

  16. Guess pakistan and china tightness is going to have the indians killed. Don't the chinese see they are being used for pakistans agenda of spreading islam all over the world. The pakistanis have some mongolians chinese blood in them that genghas khan evilness. Well after china is done with India the pakistanis are going to turn onto china to convert them to Islam. All islamist plots to think we thought the chinese were clever. China and India has more in common via buddhism and because of that there is not much issue of the indians and chinese intermarrying especially in nepal.
  17. People have sant jarnail singh stickers in delhi now? wow that is a change big one generally delhi lot keep quiet about that and hate bhindranwale his support is more in punjab guess we are seeing a change in sikhi. Alot of these things are just to get the girls but thing is girls are not really into that kind of stuff. Also I noticed the hatred even recollects with hindus trying to throw stones at the early sikhs for rejecting the caste system i.e. becomming untouchables themselves however if anything sikhs have are more accurately following hinduism.
  18. I think avesta has unified polytheism into monotheism he has taken dieties from the past and has destroyed there temples creating worship of such dieties. It is possible these people were then such enlightened souls. As for islam we find in ancient arabia the pagan gods names are preserved such as illah so it went that way. Kind of like how maharaj goes from brahma to parbrahm he who was above brahma. http://www.angelfire.com/planet/mythguide/yazatas.html THE YAZATAS The Yazatas or Persian gods are a mysterious race of superhumanly powerful humanoid beings who were worshipped by the ancient Persian and Median races of the Middle East from about 1000 BC to the 7th Century when they were overwhelmed by Islamic religion. In ancient times, the Yazatas once dwelled at Naqsh-e Rustam in modern Iran with their mortal descendants, but they later moved to the other-dimensional realm of Elysium, a plane of existence identified in later Abrahamic texts as the afterlife where all human souls subsequently arrive after death. It is linked to Earth by means of a dimensional access point somewhere near Mount Demavend in the Elburz mountain range of Iran. The Yazatas are a separate branch of the Devas or Hindu gods with whom they are opposed. They share their ancestry with Aditi, the ancient earth-mother, who was loved by Purusha, a great sky god known as Zurvan to the Persians, and gave birth to the Adityas, the first generation of the Vedic gods. It is believed that Aditi was actually Gaea, the primordial earth-mother who had survived the destruction of the Elder Gods of Earth by infusing her life into the life-giving essence of the Earth. Many of the Elder Gods had degenerated into demonic status and were destroyed by Atum the God-Slayer or had fled Earth for other planes of existence. Aditi was loved by Purusha, the great sky-spirit and they sired the Adityas or Vedic gods. Purusha granted dominion of the Vedic gods to Varuna, who was overthrown by Ravanna, leader of the Rakshasas, a race of gods with demonic characteristics. The ancient Persians knew Ravanna by the name Ahriman, the king of the demons, a model for the Biblical "Satan," a Hebrew word meaning "adversary." Ravanna was subsequently overthrown by the gods Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva, rulers of the ascendant Hindu religion, who displaced Varuna as ruler of the Devas.
