There is a salok in sanskrit which praises Harad/Harde which is one of the 3 components of Triphala, my father would recite it so many times that i kind of picked up it is like this :

Yassya Maata nassyati tassya Mata Haritaki

Which means one who doesnt have a mother, her/his Mata is Haritaki (Harde)
A mother takes care of the child and makes sure the child is disease free, similarly Harde too keeps one free of diseases.

Sikhi couldnt cure this disease

Great personalities of those times like Emperor Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Kamran and King Yaqub of Kashmir sought the blessings of Sri Chand. The noted scholar K.M. Munshi writes that Maharana Pratap sought Sri Chand's blessings to fight against Akbar. People describe various ways of doing ..some say a shastar should be kept along with a lighted diya ..and a pitcher of water..however it is better one does abhyaas than getting into ritualistic specifications which are made by different people rather than our Guru Sahib..so as long as you are bathed and wearing clean clothes it is fine ..the Jungi Khalsa would do baani on horseback ..they were fighting for days together..you think someone had that time to get into rituals ? Sehaj paath karna ..abhyaas karna ..it takes a life time to understand things ..

For daily abhyaas she can do a combination of Japji sahib , Jaap Sahib, Choupai sahib, Ath Chandi Charitar consisting of the 8th adhyay of Chandi Charitar ...Shastar Naam Maala , Bhagouti Ashtotar and Brahm Kavach which is recited 32 times as instructed in the baani.

Jap ji Sahib - 12-15 mins approx

Jaap sahib - 12 mins approx

Choupai sahib - 5 mins approx

Ath Chandi Charitar ashtomo adhyay - 2 mins approx

Shastar Naam Maala - 7 - 8 mins approx

Siri Bhagouti Ashtotar - 2-3 mins approx

Brahm Kavach 32 paaths : 25 mins approx

It comes to approximately an hour and 10 mins around ...if she can do that in the morning .

if we take the definition of a Sikh into consideration, philosophically they would be Sikhs, however if we go in accordance to rituals, then the answer would be no

During driving i use to jaap the Gur Gayatri (Gobinde Mukande) and overcame fear. When i use to drive to work in the evenings i use to do Gur Gayatri , now its mornings so i jaap the mool mantar.

pehen ji let me introduce you to the india i know as i am here, 80% of the population of india is 'vaishnu' based. one or the other diety is linked to the avatar of vishnu.

there are followers who follow it but do not fall into the organised vaishnu category.

there are many who worship different religious artefacts not even knowning what category he or she is falling in.

i have been to temples and still visit them, i do not categorize myself as anyting but sikh, they ask me if i worship shiva or vishnu or shakti, i would say All in the form of One since Akaal Purakh is the master of all and He is Nirgun Nirankaar and i do not worship any diety exclusively.

what Guru Maharaj's parents were or even the past life doesnt hold much importance, the fact is he formed a panth which only spoke of a formless Power the Akaal Purakh.

With due respect to your devotion, of whatever little i have known of Sikhi is. There is respect for the Avatars however worship of any individual Avatar is not in the concept. When you come across names of the various Avatars in Sri Aad Guru Granth Sahib ji, the Bhagats and Guru Sahibs refer to them in context of Akaal Parmatma. 
Also in Sanatan Dharam, the Vedas focus on Nirankaar is what is i have heard. I have heard my father using the terms Microcosm and Macrocosm. The Avatars are the Microcosm is what i have understood. 

We cannot degrade him like this ..and i have mentioned this before we do not know if we had been in his place what we would have done .

the kshatris had foresaken kshatri dharam and the Khalsa had to input the kshatri dharam into all. the kshatris r the most usless creatures since they twirl their moustaches in front of the the castes which they consider lower and offer their daughers to the turaks so that they can keep their joy and merry making gonig on .

I have heard his video speaking against Harnaam Singh ji ...such a language and criticism is not expected from Sants ..his speech is laced with arrogance ...he goes to saying tuhaada kam ta assi kar reh hai..now who told him to do parchaar ? nahi karo ji..how many drug addicts did he rehabilitate ?can he declare a district free from all nashe ? has he made that effort ? So much haume and hatred ..this is not expected at all.
At the same time , i would condemn the attackers too ..its an internal issue ..should anything and everything be solved with brute force ? how many Panth dokhis have they sent to Yamraj like this ?

I personally feel the idea was to feel dedicated to their weapons and to see the Bhagouti Shakti purely in the form of the Sword. Remember, Maharaj created Kshatriyas out of laymen who had never fought. The Rajputs have worshipped Bhagouti in the form of Shastars since ages however when one does paath of Shastar Naam Maala , he/she does the bhagti of the Shastars . The pyaar for the Shastars increases.
