I got few contemponary pics of paintings of Guru. About 4 of Guru Nanak Sahib exist, 1 of Guru Hargobind Sahib, 1 of Guru Tegh Bahadur and 1 of Guru Gobind Singh. And even one of Guru Har Rai.

Jaggi believes fully in Dasam Granth now. Yes DalSingh good idea, bother to start?

Anyone else who knows something on it? I asked many learned Singhs and they didn't know :S Only info I got that it was during 6th Patshahs time.

How has the Jaikara evoluated? When was it started ? Was it during Guru Hargobind Sahibs time? Any historical texts on it. And how come there is the traditional Boley So Nihaal, and then Nihang ones such as Jo Gajkey ... is it just that Nihangs edited it to make it longer? Or were all in use? Historical granths on this?

It is not Mehma Prakash that says that it is unreliable, it is Bansawlinama. Kesar Singh, its writer, says that all his info is based on hearsay, and he is collecting it only for his pleasure.

Living in Belgium, I see that Islam is rising fastly here. First they banned hijabs and turbans in school to control Islamists. They saw that some areas are kind off inaccesible to Goreh. So they took up this step. When a school in Antwerp city banned hijab too (coz banning hijab turban is school decision, not state), Muslims attacked it, blocked the school staff etc vandalised it. Most common name in my city Brussels (capital of europe) is Muhammad. Very gora name, isn't it? Most of newborns are Muslims. Just some facts you need to consider before commenting on this topic. Not in favour nor against this ban.

I don't only read stuff attributed to 10th Patshah, I also read old Rehatnamas and this is apparently one of them. Stamp of Prof Darshan Singh? But I am not in Canada so can't get it.
