  2. please see the following link, this is appalling. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/52373-gurdwara-issues/ can someone who is on sikhsangat please invite them onto this forum where more advice can be given. this is dusgusting, we need to help them as much as possible.
  3. the only advice i can give is make sure you only use cast iron weights, modern day sand dumbells are easier to use and more comfortable but cast iron is the only way, dont worry if they dont look pretty, lol.
  4. the routine isnt mine, atm im not doin much training, i personally have done a bit of eskrima, and am going to start shastar vidya soon aswell. i just thought it would be good to know how everyone trains, we can all give ideas and help each other out. would you say just practice the latest lesson and just shadow fight or train with a partner. i personally like the idea of training your latest lesson as the one and only bruce lee says ' i do not fear a man who has trained 1000 kicks once but a man who has trained one kick 1000 times.
  5. there is a good post on sikh inspired fitness. http://sikhinspiredfitness.forums-free.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=717&p=2930#p2930 i myself am interested in your training routines. please contribute, either here or on the sikh inspired fitness forum.
  6. also on page 167 of sahail parkash, babaji explains 64types vidyas. interesting.
  7. pal07 - the shabad you referred to is talking about 16powers of god. this is different to the 14 different vidyas. its definitely 14, i checked the sohail parkash, in the tatkara it says 14 vidyas, but im finding it quite hard to find a list, as it isnt organised well in the pdf, its not done by chapter. my panjabi isnt that great either.
  8. it would be great to compile a list of all of the vidyas as well as granths which teach them for those of us who whould like to learn them. we are losing alot of the vidya today, partly because we are lazy and also because of lack of awareness (both of the actual vidya and of resources or teachers).
  9. vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fathe i have some amazing dvd's sent from india. i was told to put the on the internet, i figured youtube would be the best place. i was wandering if ne1 here knows what free(i know im cheap, but oh well) software to use to edit the video, i need to cut some parts out, change the audio (put kirtan mp3 as the background audio), split it in2 10min parts as youtube has a 10minute limit. thanks in advanced, and just to let you know, it is some amazing footage. mahakaal ji sahai
