  5. anyone know the meanings of " kaamana" "banaavat" "tript"
  6. I just heard about Baba ji saying sachkhand not being a location. What about hell then would that exist? or is this hell idea a western thought that has creped into sikhi?
  7. Thanks alot dalsingh and i agree with you on the point about trying to improve our punjabi linguistic skills i just recently learnt it myself so feel free to give any tips on ways to improve understanding punjabi skills. Though i can read slowly most of what i read in punjabi specially when it comes to sikhi material i have a hard time to understand. Great stuff though you should venture more into the field of translating
  8. Thanks for the reply and you are right about the "secrets" thing. I asked about the difference between Dr Hatsumi's bujiken and its difference to genbukan and i was told that Tanemura and Dr Hatsumi were students of the same master, and was a dispute mainly because Dr hatsumi taught "foreigners" differently or like you said didn't share the "secrets" ( though this is only the gembukan side of the story) overall it was a pretty much a small, quite dojo and he was only teaching about 5 students. It was very traditional and meditated for a few mins before and after training, the training itself was pretty good to. I think i will have a look at a few different arts before i choose to attend one regularly.
  9. Is sachkhand a location or a state of ones own innerself? Also is there a schedule of were sant ji is doing katha etc.. around toronto? I've never had sant jis darshan
  10. Im not sure but is it not normal to have one nostril blocked? Isn't that why yogis cover one nostril and breath in and out the other and then repeat the same for other nostril?
  11. Here are mine 1. Is it compulsory to take khande ki paul amrit? What i mean by this is that panj kakkari rehat is usually a significance to saint/soldier lifestyle of the Khalsa. How would Gurmat occupy those that do not want to be soldiers but what to just focus on sainthood? Is kakkar rehat still important to keep for them? 2. Maybe you could also ask about the removing of kakkars e.g people hold the belief khasera should never leave the body (one foot in one foot out type of thing, removing of kareh for training or work etc.. are these just sikhs going "over the top" with rehat. Or do they hold any significance. If it goes to a sikh should always be tyar bar tyar etc... then i guess it goes back to my first question about Sikh who rather focus on spirituality and rather not care about warrior aspect.
