  1. I think giani mohan singh jee resides at bhinder kalan village in Moga and name of gurdwara is akhand parkash if I am correct. There is a website of his katha at: http://www.gurbanisidhantvichaar.in/ On the site website there is contact link, try this to get more info or maybe somebody else has exact details.
  2. Bhenji satkirin kaur jee, waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh! I have read some of this thread and the views i have read are what i expect for this forum which is generally anti-akj. You have raised some good points and it is great that you are defending the right for women to wear keski and the rehat of akj in general. However i am very surprised that you say that you are vegetarian but you also eat eggs. Eggs are definitely not vegetarian, fertilized or un-fertilized, I would strongly advise you to give up eating eggs so that you do not compromise your Gurmat rehat. I do not know if you have taken amrit, but if you take from akj organised amrit sanchaar then they will definitely forbid meat/fish and eggs. Gursikhs abstain from eating maas and eggs but do consume products dairy products such as milk and yoghurt. If you have any more queries please ask the panj piare in amrit sanchaar. Since you are interested in akj rehat then i would advise to read posts on forums such as gurmatbibek.com and tapoban.org. As for ddt view here is a video and in the first few seconds the singh advises against meat and eggs: Here is another video of bhai hari singh randhawa of ddt defending the anti-meat stance of Gursikhs against missionary sikhs: Bhul chuck maaf jee.
  3. Gurparsad means with the kirpa of Guru one can meet Parmeshar (god). The second meaning by N30 Singh jee cannot be done according to viaakaran (grammer) rules. Gurparsad has a sihari on the dhadda indicating "Guru di kirpa naal". Please check the word Parsaad in Gurbani, everytime the word comes with sihaari, it means "kirpa naal" as far as I am aware.
  4. Try contacting DTF books in Bham for books. Daas purchased a copy of Bhavrasamrit from there.
  5. Jathedars of Nihang Dals and Damdami Taksal Mukhi letter regarding Niddar Singh and koor parchaar: http://www.shastervi...ingh-exclusive/ Here is a letter from the main Nihang Organisations in India presented to Jathedar of the Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Gurbachan Singh. The following is a translation of the letter To the Esteemed Jathedar of the Akaal Takht, We feel compelled to bring to your attention that Niddar Singh aka Surjit Singh bains of Wolverhampton UK is involved in anti Sikh consipiracies by doing anti-Sikh parchaar on his websites and diluting the sikh philosophy by teaching that Sikhs are a part of Hinduism. With his heinous teachings(koorr parchar) he is misleading the Sikh sangat. He keeps changing the name of his akhara on his website to include names such as “Hindu Santan Shiv Akhara” and is falsely using the name of Jathedar Akali Baba Darbara Singh to legitimise himself. Niddar Singh is stating that the Khalsa was born from Shiv Ji and not guru Gobind Singh ji. He also proclaims falsely that the “Farla” of Nihang Singhs is sprouted from the ganges river and that blue bana is from the colour of Shiva. He is also saying that the chakar that Nihang Singhs wear on their dumalla is a sign of Shivji. He is saying that the Sikh dharam emerged from hinduism and that Sikhi is just another samparda of the Hindu dharam and is also teaching that Sikh Shastar Vidiya and Gatka is a branch of the Hindu Dharam. Niddar Singhs activities in the uk are upsetting and dividing Sikhs there. Guru Gobind Singh ji made the Khalsa unique. This fake Nihang is spreading doubts, confusion and slander within the sikh sangat. On the 300th celebration of Guru Granth Ji’s Gurgaddi the sangat of Hazur Sahib kicked him out due to his nefarious activities and anti Sikh parchaar. By putting the concerns of the panth first we recomend that this individual is brought before the Akal Takht to answer for his crimes and receive punishment accordingly and the sikh sangat be freed of this confusion. signed by Baba Joginder Singh — Jathedar of Budha Dal Baba Avatar Singh — Jathedar of Bidhi Chand Dal Baba Nihal Singh — Jathedar of Haria Vela Dal Baba Gajjan Singh — Jathedar Tarana Dal (Baba Bakala) Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa — Jathedar Damdami Taksal
  6. Veer ji, This is the best I could find, it is not the full book. http://www.vidhia.co...ndheer+Singh+Ji
  7. Veer jee, this pustak is available on PDL website at: http://www.panjabdigilib.org/webuser/searches/displayPage.jsp?ID=2836&page=0001&CategoryID=1&Searched=Nisan%20Te%20Hukamname&sbtsro=0 To view the entire book you have to sign up which is free.
  8. Veer ji you can get a copy of the book from dtf books, soho rd, Birmingham or sikh missionary in london. Maybe you can get credit card from parents? I believe both the kindle and ibook versions are free. rabb rakhe
  9. Veer ji, a kindle and ibook version are available at http://www.bsrstrust.org/books/e-books/ The punjabi version is also available on gurmatveechar.com in the literature section.
  10. In an old janamsakhi outside of India bhagat Kabir ji writes the following: “ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੂ " Further to this in the Goindval pothis which are very old pothis of Gurbani that were used by sri Guru Arjan Dev ji to compile the Aad Granth it is written just before the bani of bhagat Kabir ji: "ਕਮੀਰ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਾਬੇ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ " Here Baba is referring to Guru Nanak, it is saying the following bani of Kabir ji the bhagat of Baba (Guru Nanak). Listen to Sant Kartar Singh ji Jathedar Damdami Taksal : They clearly say that all bani of bhagats was uttered in the hazoori of Guru ji. Guru ji approved the bani and then it was entered into sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Rabb Rakhe
  11. I simply do not understand what is "suspect" about research. Chatanga ji, you raised a question in regards to additional banis such as Ratnamala and Hakikat Rah Mukaam. I have stated my opinion saying that these banis should not be included as part of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. This is my honest opinion. What is your opinion on these banis? As far as Ragmala or Munadavani is concerned this is a separate issue and has been discussed a million times before as I am sure you are aware. I have noticed that such topics on Ragmala descend into useless arguments and nindya of Gurmukhs. I have respect for Gurmukhs on both sides of this argument and thats why I do not want to discuss this. I am sure there are many more constructive topics to be discussed that can increase our knowledge of Gurmat. I hope you understand.
  12. I back the status quo which is that bhog of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji can be done at Mundavani or Ragmala as per the SRM. What's wrong with the panth doing more khoj/research into this issue? If we are going to come to a final decision then more research is required and a gathering of the panth is also required. The topic being discussed is additional banis such as Ratanmala, Jit Dar, Ratanmala etc. The majority of the panth does not accept these banis as part of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. I have not heard or read anywhere that these banis should be included in sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.
  13. More research is required in this field. Both sides have their arguments in regards to this subject. This should be discussed at a panthic level or maybe the status quo should remain ie allow bhog at Mundavani or bhog at Ragamala as per SRM. Bhai Kam Singh ji, I do not understand your 1st paragraph, surely "Raj Karega Khalsa" was uttered by sri Kalgi Pita, Khalsa was not invented in Guru Nanak Dev ji's time. I am sure this ardas was uttered to Singhs by sri Guru Gobind Singh ji at time of GurGaddi at sri Hazur Sahib. Rabb Rakhe
  14. Chatanga ji, Just sign up to http://www.panjabdigilib.org and you can view numerous saroops. You will notice that 95% of these saroops contain these additional banis. In the saroop on gurmatveecahar, slok Mahalla nauva is on page 833. The reason I replied was that bhai Kam Singh ji seems to suggest that these additional banis are part of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. I am definitely not a top level scholar.
  15. In the kartarpuri bir these additional bani's appear after sri Mundavani. In my opinion these bani's are not part of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Guru Tegh Bahadur ji's bani was added before sri Mundavani. If these bani's were authentic surely they would have been added before sri Mundavani. In any case more research is required in this field. Another problem is that many puratan saroops were stolen or shaheed during operation bluestar. So it is more difficult to do the required research. There was a gathering of the panth before saroops of Guru Granth Sahib ji were published and it was decided that these banis were not authentic and they were omitted. One thing that stands out is that these banis are in the majority of cases after sri Mundavani you can check this by looking at saroops on Panjab Digital Library website. Gursikhs that believe that sri Guru Granth Sahib ji ends at Mundavani will not accept banis afer this. However Gursikhs that believe Ragmala is the bhog of sri Guru Granth Sahib ji will be more more open minded on this issue. I do not know the stance of Samprada's or Taksal on this issue. I think these issues should be discussed at panthic level by top scholars of the panth, I feel that discussing such issues on forum will only lead to confusion and useless arguments. Rabb Rakhe
