Koi Bole Ram Ram is a beautiful shabad, originally sang in qawwali form by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. From Ramakali Mehala 5, the Shabad talks about the various ways a person can address/pray to God, but most important is the dedication towards God and understanding the Truth.
Riyaaz Qawwali, under Project Kishti, would like to reach out to the wonderfully devotional and musically inclined Sikh community with this rendition of Koi Bole Ram Ram posted at the website . It is our hope to bring qawwali to new audiences, while sticking to the purpose of qawwali- to use music as a medium to become closer with humanity-at-large and the power up above all of us.
