bhenji i would just like to add that all the jathedaar of budha dal were also the jathedaar of the akaal takhat sahib.......this was the case up until the time akali baba sahib singh ji when the british backed sgpc took over......by going into akaal takhat sahib and physically beating baba sahib singh and a couple of his fellow nihang singhs and getting a laathee (stick) and wedging it under the manjee sahib of dasam guru granth sahib and toppling it and throwing out the nihang singhs and the dasam guru granth sahib jees bir.........saying get out and take your filthy book with u!........this is the history of these dusht papee british lap dogs.......haramee!!!.........sgpc........... :evil: these are the ppl who call them selves the representives of sikhi and the controllers of the khalsa panth???? :evil: sorry just thought id add that little bit information... :twisted:

n3o sorry in advance i know u are asking the question to narsingha but i just wanted to tell u about a great grahmgiani, mahapursh as u put it...........his name was jathedaar akali baba bishan singh jee nihang.....the jathedaar of tarnal dal shaheeda dee misl..........during his jathedaari which was during 70's and early 80's was the biggest nihang dal......even larger than budha dal it self............and u can ask the elders who baba bishan singh was.....and most will reply a great mahapursh.......but most usually forget to tell that he was a akali nihang singh.............and he done alot of seva during his life time and earned great respect of the people of the area............ when sant jarnail singh bhindrawale went to meet them the first thing he done was touch akali bishan singhs feet...............(who was a maas eating, cannibis drinking nihang singh)..........and if u ever go to baba bakala sahib where the dal is based......the first u get when u get there is a bata of degh offered to u............and when sant jarnail singh ji went the first thing baba ji offered him was a bata of degh and sant jee declined and baba ji asked him again and sant ji again declined the offer saying that he had never drank it before and as it was not allowed in the taksaal he prefered not to...........but then baba ji said "shack leh putraa" one last time.......and sant jarnail singh ji said "ok as i cannot refuse u pita ji on the third time".......and sant ji drank it and even asked for a second serving........... this story has been told to me many times by nihang singhs and taksaali singh alike...... my point by telling u story was just to say who says that nihang singh dont know any thing of spirituality or have a lack of it........there are countless great mahapurshes with in the dal panth.......but who dont go around making dera's and collecting money........within the main stream sikhs........but live humble lives within the dal panth doing seva.......and teaching vidiyaa........ but also there is nothing wrong with having more than one gurdev/ustaad as one may be more knowledgable in one area and the other more knowledgble of another area.............

yaara if we all thought like that we would even wanna be sikhs........look at the dusht who run the panth at this time ppl like badal and tohra and dusht maleash like them if we all looked at them as examples of sikhi........we should then also just forget about sikhi as there are too many bad sikhs????? there is a balance and truth to every thing!

punjab has a very proud and incredible history........and punjab is the land where our gurus were born and where all our ancestors are from and many great battles been fought on that land and the blood of countless shaheed warriors of all faiths have been spilt on that land and basically in more recent history it has always been the punjabis who have fought invaders attacking from the north through the khyber pass which was the only way into india from that side........the jatta and khashtaris have always been known for their honour and great fighting hearts as jatts were employed by the great imams of the shia muslims to fight along side them against the waharbis........and these are the same ppl who have settled all around the nothern india......pakistan, afganistan, iran, iraq.........all this area was once the land where the shiv ji and other great purshes walked on...........ram ji, krishan ji are of the this region and this where the great jang of mahabharat took place etc ...........so people naturally are proud of the heritage...... maharaaj also talks of these battles and peolpe ........so by knowing ur history of ur forefathers and where u fit in the great scheme of things.......u can learn alot about sikhi its self as u will under stand why maharaaj mentions certain things in bani........u will realise full meaning behind them........maharaaj says that guru granth sahib ji is the nachor of all the vedas and shastaras..........so maharaaj just refers to them in bani but doesnt obviously go into full detail as it is already written down.....so to sometimes under stand fully what maharaaj is saying in bani u need to look back at our past under stand the culture and why ppl did things etc etc .......... i think the reason why ppl have started calling them selves punjabis rather than sikhs is because they are being told in modern parchaar that u are not a sikh until u are baptised etc etc so these ppl are just being shund away by extreme views and intolerance expressed within the sikh panth in these modern times.....

indian bhaji maaf karna for making it souding like sikhi is the best and everyone else sucks........that was not my intention.........it was actually the contrary......i was trying to explain to my sikh brothers that we should not be ignorant and discredit our ancestors......because there is alot of fanatisism creeping into sikhi......ppl blatently denying that ram and krishan, shiv etc did not exist and were hindus so they are nothing to us.......i was just trying to put the point across about how there is no difference in whta sri ram ji, sri krishan ji and guru nanak dev were teaching..........which was truth which has been true since the before time and begining of time and during the ages and now and it will remain so in the future......... the coming of guru nanak dev ji in this kaljug and him being the avtaar of this jug is written in the vedas..........many so called religious leaders will come and go in the kal jug and they all may be very chardi kala and speak the truth.......like there are many roads in to the city of london.........some are longer and shorter and some are quicker........but they will all get u there in the end and all that maharaaj and vedas say that in this jug guru nanak dev ji is avtaar as ram and krishan were the avtaars in their respective jugs.........but not saying that all other spiritual personalities are fake or not of any value........because there is sooo much diversity on this earth......ppl have different tastes views opinions and thus different paths will suit different ppl ..........i am not saying we are the best and everry one else is going to hell .......but the contrary......all paths will get u there.........i do dont claim that i represent the sikh panth.......but these are just my own personal opinions.......and i dont have a monoply on the truth......truth is every where........ at the heart and core of every dharam there is the same truth! hatred is spread by men............becuase the size of the vessal god has given us to collect knowledge is very small and no single person can claim to know every thing as the ocean of knowledge is too vast to fit into our small vessals.........

bhaji when u talk abt 96 kror khalsa......that doesnt nessesarily mean as in amritdhaari......but as in rightous and pure dharami ppl.....of any faith.......who will get together and fight against the tyranny and oppression of this kal jug (dusht, maleash)........ and the gal about sikhis roots......far as i under stand is that the same truth that was in sat jug was the same truth (sat) that was in the other two jugs and is the same truth now in this kal jug.........this word hindu was used by the invading turks to describe the ppl of the indus........but within india there were many small dharams......... the truth is the same truth as in the vedas and shastaras and sutras but in this kal jug guru granth sahib is the nichor of all these religious texts.........everything has to be made more effecient and time effective as we have less time to do vaheguroos bhagatee as in past jugs.....and we have more distractions and obsticals.......but as guru nanak dev jee is the avtaar of this jug so were krishan and ram of their respective jugs who we respect and consider our ancestors not as hindu gods etc.........guru nanak dev jee taught the same truth as did ram and krishan......but obviously with changes to certain practices which have been very affective in other jugs but would take too long in kal jug......so maharaaj just taught us a different technique of doing bhagatee for this jug......... i do not consider ram or krishan or durga as hindu.......but our ancestors and hindu are these fanatical rss ppl.......the rest of the so called hindus are our brothers/relatives........as they just still believe in the old ways......but by segregating and putting up walls and hating..... we will only push them away and they will never have the chance to see to realise that sikhi is the same as what the vedas and shastaras and sutras teach but is more affective in this kal jug than some of the old ways are that they are still using.......
