  1. I use Mozilla Firefox and it is an awesome browser once you have installed the correct plugins for your needs. It also has many features that are far better for the ser experience i.e. tabbed broswing which weans you can view many websites from just ONE window. I know I won't be going back to IE.
  2. well i think thats answered for everyone N30. lol
  3. IDEAL Singh, ever hear of the story of Samson and Delila? Raveender, i tie a dastaar as yourself and roll it up before tieing. The only thing i can say is take your time and dont rush. You've probably heard this many times but - practice DOES make perfect paji. Khalsa Soulja, agreed, i have always worked in the City of London and proudly keep my dhara untied and would never have it any other way.
  4. Waheguru. chardikala_kaur panji please do not give up hope, you have come this far so please do not lose faith now. It is always sad to have loved ones pass away and to feel sad when they/we become ill. Take note of the above comment written by the paji's and panji, they are wise words.
  5. LOL i know a few monay that use to do that in the past.
  6. While we're on the laughing topic why don't we also discuss talking in the gurdwara aswell because this is the same thing to me. I'll put my hands right up and say yes i've laughed before par i do not sit and talk til my face goes blows like tooooo many people do nowadays. Makes me mad. Why come to the Gurdwara if you are not going to listen to Kirtan, Katha, Dhadhi and are just there to disturb others.
  7. Western peer/media pressure. There is not other answer unless you do so for medical reasons.
  8. My opinions are as follows and i would not have it any other way. I do not starch my pagh. I tie my dastaar everyday. I do not tie my dhara. Tieing your hair back like a "rockstar" as you say aswell as wearing any type of hat (as some so-called dastaar's have become) is just not on. Should you choose to be different in your choice then so be it.
  9. Being a guy who doesn't have a sis, its not the piece of thread but the thought behind it that counts. i couldnt care less about a piece of cloth. Besides who said i actually wear it?
  10. Waheguru has given us paths and choices however the ones we wish to follow are up to us. We decide how we are going to attempt things in life and if we are blessed with kirpa i hope we will choose those paths that will make our lifes better and more wholesome. If we do not, i believe we have made these bad choices for a reason. This reason is ultimately something that will come to a good outcome but we must confirm and have faith in Waheguru irrespectively. Guru Granth Sahib Ji will guide you.
  11. I dont have any sisters just one bro and he moved to Canada this year and i've been missing him. But i got 3 Rakhri's from some cousin sisters i knew i had and who i met this year for the first time. Being pleased doesn't even come close.
  12. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh 8)
  13. these things Canadian Jatti talks about is not something that is specific to Canada but apne munday accross the WORLD always latch onto the "bad" things of other cultures and make it their own. what we must question is ...... WHY is this so? WHY do they feel the need to do this? and lastly WHAT can we do about this?
  14. looks good. i'll try a few myself over the weekend.
  15. Aman paji im sure you have alot more questions to ask and im sure i have all the answers you need. But none are ever going to be posted on an internet forum for certain reasons.
  16. If this is the same Giani Amolak SIngh Ji, then he is like a Grandfather to me.
  17. yes thats correct. to be honest i have friends who wear the burkah and it not something to be judged by or laughed at. its the religion they wish to follow, so be it. only Waheguru Ji is can judge us.
