  1. indian ur attempts maybe in the right place but y should we forget. the indian govt made us feel like strangers in our own homes. killed our brothers/fathers, raped our mothers/ sisters. all those ppl that made sacrifices for the sikh quam. we should never forget.
  2. YEH UR RIGHT, MAYBE I WAS HARSH IN MY ANSWERS, CUZ U DO HAVE A VERY VALID POINT. AND I SUPPOSE IN ORDER TO MAKE THINGS BETTER WE DO HAVE TO QUESTION THINGS. SORRY IF I WAS HARSH
  3. UR VERY VERY RIGHT, A LOSS OF A LOVED ONE IS ALWAYS HARD BUT I KNOW HES IN A BETTER PLACE NOW, NOT IN DUKH, MAKES U THINK HOW SHORT LIFE IS GOT TO MAKE THE MOST OF IT WHILE U CAN
  4. yeh ur right about politics, and ego but don't u think this should not stop us from going to the gurdwara and learning more about sikhi, doing seva. but the point grewal made about granthis making up sakhis, maybe its happened in the gurdwara he has attended but wot would they gain from that. i personally agree with u when u say we have to make the gurdwara a place where people want to come and learn, maybe that has not happened in grewals case but alot of gurdwara are trying, yeh some people in the committee have other ideas but on thw whole i really think they are trying to make it so the younger generation attend, well they do at the gurdwara i attend neway, cant really speak for other gurdwarae. neway phul chuk marf karni
  5. i dont agree with ur opnion soo much. yeh their maybe ppl that go to the gurdwara that gossip, but that shouldn't stop nebody else listening to guru ji's bani. thats their mare karam if they gossip. Granthis thinking they are the almighty, and merely yapping making up Sakhis that are unheard of. What is the Gurdawar scene coming to. if granthis are making up bani that is paap on them, r u telling me that u know every sakhi, yeh they may b telling u sakhis that u have not heard but that is ur chance to learn. We got supposed Sikhs running tha Gurdwaras thinking its the houses of Parliament, fighting for control over the money, in which they never invest in the community. i agree with u on this to an extent, sometimes ppl just carried away with politics. Youngsters dont know whats going on, even when they are forced to go on the Sunday. Youngsters need to learn as do the adults! isn't sikhi about learning, we are all here to learn. alot of the time u will find kids are forced, but thats only b'coz our parents want us to know about Sikhi, if they didn't force us, how many kids would actually go?? alot of gurdwarae are doing things to help kids learn, such a sikhi camps, they even hold classes where ppl can learn more about the path we do everyday, this is for everybody. its soo easy picking up the negatives but i think we have to look at what we have achieved. i know that the gurdwara i attend does soo much for the younger generations, holding gurmat classes, camps, involving all the kids in charity events. we do simran in the eve, esp for kids. phul chuk marf karni
  6. yeh i have heard about this too, but couldn't the same be said about chatka. i know alot of people who agree with chatka.what i also think is a problem is that their are two many jatha bandhis and this can be very confusing, esp when they have different maryada,
  7. thanx alot guys, everything u have said is true. to be honest i never though of it like that. i suppose it helps looking at it from that angle, rather than thinking like i was. got to be grateful to waheguru, for not letting him suffer anymore. if he was strong i think we all should be too. neway thanx alot.
  8. i know what your saying is right, atleast where he is know he is happy and not in dukh. he was in soo much pain when he was alive. but it doesn't make the loss any easier. it was hard seeing him, in soo much pain. u understand what i'm going through. everybody says that its all about karam. everything that happens is b'coz our bad deeds in our past life, but wouldnt our bad deeds but washed away if we did path and seva. and spent our whole life as a gursikh
  9. everything u have said is true, but i think alot of it comes down to lack of knowledge. they may not realise that what they are doing is wrong, they are proud to be sikh, and this is their way of showing it, it may not neccesarily be the right way, but maybe thats the only way they know how, they just have to be shown the right way of doing it i suppose. obviously their will always bo some who are doing out of disrespect but isn't up to us 2 show these ppl that what they are doin is wrong. someone mentioned about kids where t-shirts, and necklaces, but their nieve and young, they have to shown the right way of showing hoe prout they are
  10. you are right about what you are saying, but it could also be said that anybody who does not live in full rehyt is not a sikh. phul chuk marf karni
  11. wjkk wjkf hi how r u all. just wanted ur opinion on something. recently my masser passed away. he had cancer, he was a gursikh did alot of path and seva. but i want to know why does god give soo much dukh especially to the gud ppl out there.
