Even since i am concious i would demand my mother to do joorah like my brother, people actually thought we were 2 brothers. I sometimes thinks it is PISHLAY KARAM.. in a way my mind was being prepared for a dastar. Since the age of 1- i have been wearing a full dastar (no patkaa's). My first dastar was tied by my father. He tied it for me the 1 years (i have taken choola then) and and later on i did by myself. Bingee or not. Who really cares? Is it about the OUTLOOK that we live? well i dont think we should. You want to wear a dastar? Just go ahead. The people around you thinking this or that? You know there is something called Getting-USED-TO. You gotta start doing it if you want to know how it feels like, cause every person's life and society-life style and most importantly PERSONALITY is different. Im the type of person who really dont give a damn about what other think if my dastar is bingee, vadee or whatever. Other are not like that. and thats what makes every person a different one. And i think you are the only one who can actully try and decide how it is cause everything is determined by your own life style. But since i wear i feel god about myself. Cause you know what, maybe i got bullied at school, college and at uni., but since i was ONLY singhnee or indian actualy in the university i was studying in, people respected me sooo much. Some would like bow to say hello. I received sooo much respect. People who sy silly things to sikhs are mostly ignorant. Its either you accept their remarks are hurtfull things or you accept that they are ignorant and need some education about social life. It all about YOU INNER STRENGTH. Thankx

I was just talking about the point that "there is nothing wrong about being a FRIEND with the opposite gender" not about LOVE between man and woman. I meant that that kind of "friendship can go out of "control" easily. well i think.

Khandaydhaar How do u determine what is the LIMITS of KNOWING someone? Well according to me, due to the nature of us, HUMANS, it is never sufficient. We need to know more and more and more, and what is the end? Kaam. I THINK, only A VERY FEW couples have OVERCOME the kaam to move on with spiritual completion. There is a VERY thin line where Love becomes Lust. Just have to be carefull and strong. We can be close and dear FRIENDS with the opposite gender, but people have to be VERY strong to keep that FRIENDSHIP intact, cause kaam is something that BOILS, and when it boils a tiny little bit more over the thin line, it infects the mind and body. So, gotta be carefull, and ANALYSE ur friendship with care and an open mind to make sure now and then that one is not trying to cross that thin line. Well thats what i think.

Ajkal dee SIKHI pata kee hai? Big dastar, beautifull dumala, popularity among youth and aged, and a big jubaan, and of course the hankaar that i had darshan of this or that sant, and i am a better sikh then the person sitting next. well thats where is all get stuck.. there is no way... (well i can see of any effective one) to filter out the pakhandees... kee khial? and i think that is why nothing has been done yet... and for sure nobody is willing to take such a huge seva... well thats acoording to me, dear.

I would go. ANd i think there should be KHALSA military schools that will train QUALIFIED (sikhi-wise and insaniat-wise) people, including singhs and kaurs, who will be there to protect the Gurdwaras from those pakhandee babays and... i think there should be a petition to get permission for this kind of study... Not only study, practice also. ALL amritdharee gursikh should have to do SEVA of this kind at least for ONE year. as in some country you have to do military service after you completed the studies in order to receive the diploma. anyways, i think that something should be done.. but these people-sevak has to be thoroughly selected. something has to be done.... any suggestion on this??? someone?

Canadian _jatti ji. I understand what is your situation. Couple of years ago i finished my Bsc. in Biochemistry (now doing PhD)... i stuggle soooo badly during the first year. I had the LOWEST passing mark in all 5 classes per session i had. I was also sent a letter at home to tell me that i will be kicked out of UNIVERISTY if i dont get more then average 80% during the third session. So i had make myself understand what was happening. I kind of didnt took the UNI. serioouly, i never studied at home or school and never listen teachers in class. would just sit there and day dream. so at the third session... i enrolled myself in soccer classes-team at university. and i would practice at least 2 hours per day. And THAT kind of help me sooooo much focusing on my study. I didnt study much after, little more then usual, but i listened in classes very carefully and would ask questions until i dont understand it clearly... and at the end i had to re-take 2 classes to bring up my average to be accepted for MSc. so my say to you is... TRY TO CONCENTRATE BETTER AND UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU STUDYING AND READING< OTHERWISE IT DOESNT WORK. if you need help, let me know. thankx.

Would like to share this. "My brother was having a bad cough. He went for a PPD test (Tuberculosis). It was positive. Meaning he did have the virus, he went for the Lung X-rays, it was negative, meaning, the virus was not in the ACTIVE mode. I was scared. He was my only brother and friend also. I care about him sooo much. He was like a second father to me. I did not wanted him to be ill. I did ardas to Guru ji to please spare my brother from this illness, i would rahter be ill, i will not be able to cope seeing him in pain. Guru ji heard my ardas, no a part of it but completly. My brother went for the PPD skin test from another doctor, 2 months later without taking any medicine, and it was negative. I suddenly started having cough too, and went for the PPD also, and it was positive. I am presently taking medicine to prevent from the virus to become active and spreadable. Guru ji HEARS ALLLLLL ardas. so be carefull what you ask for. you might think of REGRETING it later. He is Omnipresent, and listen to every, how innocent would it be, ardas that you do.
