Just wanted to add, that Baba Kulwant Singh ji of Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib has stated that in the future every sikh will have a gutka in one hand and a kirpan in the other. Meaning that we're going to have to do paath continuously and fight continuously as well just to stay alive. So as you can see, the avtar coming doesn't mean that all our problems will be solved for us. Also, I don't know when He will come. Who knows how much fighting and carnage will happen beforehand?? Last point DeepSingh ji, there have been avtars coming and going from the time of the Gurus to now. The Nihang Singh did reply, and not only did he lay out the myths and rumors but also put forward the circumstances in which a "supposed messiah" was to appear. Here are some portions of that email i received... " " "Rumours.. 1) Guru Gobind Singh ji comes back 2) Baba Jarnail Singh Bhindrawaley comes back to start of the khalsaa revolution 3) Destruction of everyone else except Khalsaa... 4) Khalsaa starts from outside India and comes into India... 5) Peace and love starts off in punjab and spreads around the world like 1960s revival.. Myths... same as above...but 1) Muslims die and sikhs rule the world 2) Everyone becomes sikh and khalistan rules 3) Khalsaa raaj comes from punjab What I am going through is just the surface...basically....very very simply put.. 1) evil prevails everywhere 2) righteous people are seen as unrighteous 3) unrighteous people rule the righteous 4) lust is everywhere 5) incest is abundant 6) homosexuality and child abuse is prevalent... ...then, a time comes when the world starts to cry to Vaaheguroo cuz there is so much misdeeds happeneing....and...holy people are being hunted and killed like animals.. these triggers...kick off the appearance of an Avtaar... ...brief history...there have been 23 avtaars...reincarnations of Brahma, Vishnu and Shivji... the 24th Avtaar, who comes down, is a nutter...basically he wipes out bad people...very graphic details are given of battle scenes... NOTHING is mentioned of the khalsaa...but...it mentioned RIGHTEOUS people...but, to extend the anaology, if there is RIGHTEOUSNESS, then by definition KHALSAA exists.. Anyway, this Avtaar has an army...of righteous people...and he goes around the world destroying evil and putting people outta thier misery..only the righteous survive.. ....his name given is Naiklaank (meaning, without any blemishes...because he is beautiful to look at), or Kalki Avtaar...some schools of thought have claimed that this is a spelling mistake and refer to him as KALGI...the kalgi is what Guru Gobind Singh ji wore on his forehead... ...but..this doesnt seem to be true because Guruji is above the Avtaars...so it cannot be Guruji.. KALKI avtaar is described well..and looks in appearance to an old Nihang..with a turban, a khanda..etc... ...the nihang singhs then mention an army dressed in blue coming too...with conical turbans and blue cholas and weapons..."
