Do Sahajdaris need to keep kes?

Wait, Gobind Singh classified Muslims with Atheists? When/where was this? It seems to contradict what (admittedly little) I know about Gurbani and the Sikh view of god.

They did no such thing - don't know where Shaheediyan got that from.

"Sirgum" does not mean atheist, it has a few meanings: Literally means someone who's lost their head but usually used to refer to someone who cuts his hair, especially someone who was Amritdhari at one time.

Also bear in mind that the document shown above is not widely accepted as authentic.

abdus-salaam ji,

In case you missed it, everyone does not agree that Guru Gobind Singh Ji did any such thing (although traditional belief from quotes such as Guru Nanak Dev Ji saying "there is no Hindu nor any Muslim" could lead one to believe the Guru's considered God lost amongst the hearts of the majority of the then present Muslim and Hindu generation, who were practicing hypocrisy.

The whole point of this discussion has been to question the authenticity of "Vajib-u'l-Araz" that Amardeep refered to, not all sources are authentic.

"They did no such thing - don't know where Shaheediyan got that from."

Mcleods translation of Vajib-u'l-Araz:

Question 2:

SDs ask, "Who is a Siragum"?

Guru Ji replies, "Siragums are those who preach atheism. Followers of nandachand are Siragums. Muslims are thorough Siragums."
