After few failed attempts of asking someone summarize this thread, we have no choice but to lock this thread. This thread is classic example how off-topic an thread could be. I cannot even begin to be arsed to split the topic into two, don't even know where to start. But in future, we will be following strict guidelines and enforcement to have our members stay on topic otherwise it will be simply locked and verbal warnings may be given. We will move this topic to our archives section to let sangat decide for themselves.

Few our members have shared their frustration in debate, how they are trying to debate one point at a time but came across with other stuff being stormed in the debate. We truly believe difference of opinions, difference of school of thought can be sensibly debated if both sides have goodwill and willing to change their opinions, learn from each other and apply it accordingly in their discussion. But if both parties have already have set mindset and already have pre conceived notions, we discourage those debates as its nothing but waste of our precious times, our precious database space. If one change their opinion during discussion based on facts and evidence is sign of humility and shows the great character itself. We held discussion or debates on our forum not to declare winner or losers at the end of day. We held them so people who are engaging them or reading them can learn, share and grow from them and at end agree to disagree on things without any animosity towards each other.
