If you don't want to accept it literally, have yuo ever thought of looking at the Bhagat-Panj Pyara tradition as metaphoric... relating the Pyaras names to the Bhagats they are supposed to represent.. This is the problem with you people, you live in such a dull world, metaphor/poetry/symbology are anti-gurmat/alien concepts to you people. You see the world through 2D. We try to see the world and history in light of Guru Granth Sahib Ji's teachings. Could you tell me where it is said that these things are metaphoric?
