Personally, I wouldn't pay that much for a CS product, better off getting a real Khukri, you could get a nice quality puratan one for that sort of money.

CS are good for the low end of the market - stuff you want to practice with on objects without worrying about damage. Check out the $20 CS Kukri. For investment, go old or go for high end modern productions i.e. Jay Fisher made to order Kukris or the reputable Nepalese manufactures as discussed in Shastar thread. Unlike in India... Indonesia, Nepal and Phillipines still have quality weapons makers who have continued their trade unbroken over centuries.
