A third of all Brit men cheat on partners

A new survey has found that a third of all British men have had affairs, and a quarter of women have been mistresses. The News of the World poll found that one in five married men don’t consider monogamy to be realistic, compared to one in eight women. Relationship psychologist Susan Quilliam said, “Men see prostitution as no more than a financial transaction. To them it’s a service without any emotional connection. They can keep the feelings they have for their wife or partner separate.” 75 percent of the people said that boredom was the main factor for cheating. Quilliam claims infidelity is on the rise because it has become easier to find people on social networking sites.

The survey’s findings are:

* One in three men have had affairs

* A quarter of women have had sex with married men

* One in five married men don’t consider monogamy realistic

* One in three women who cheat do so

with a colleague

* 20 percent of men don’t think sex with a prostitute is cheating

* 75 percent of people cheat because of boredom

* 13 percent of men found their mistresses

on Facebook

* 60 percent of people cheat to feel more attractive

* 14 percent of women aged 18-24 have fallen pregnant during an affair

* 25 percent of women admitted to being mistresses

* Seven percent of married men are cheating right now. agencies

'Shagging around' doesn't seem to be much of an issue with many Brits. Whenever I've worked in corporate organisations and even in colleges, this has always gone on. Both at high levels and lower operational levels.

I honestly believe this is one of the main reasons why some goray turn up to work (asides the wages).

No, I'm saying that 'the news of the world' is a tabloid that caters to the lowest common denominator and is practically a soft porn publication. It lacks any credibility.

Remember that 'Brit' is not a race and is not confined to white people only, neither is 'Sikh' a race or confined to punjabis.

Cul, if you were here and mixed with the indigenous, you'd know attitudes towards infidelity can be pretty lax. Plus the general public has a voracious appetite for the salacious that is manifest in the focus of its best selling tabloids and other 'gossip mags' that do good business (usually aimed at women).

anyway my comments about the news of the world stand, I said nothing about british people. My point was that if you want to make a point then quoting a shitty tabloid that has been sued multiple times for libelis probably not the best source.

Infidelity/Adultry is a sign of the times, it is not confined to 'Brits' its a human (animal) weakness.

MTV/Hip Hop culture is a global phenomenan - the differences (good and bad) between cultures, faiths, tribes etc are fast being wiped out - the world population is fast becoming one big shared trash culture. Youth in Peru, US, UK and Papua NG are singing the same crap songs and acting the same crap way (Lust Lust Lust), all wearing jeans with belts tied around their knees to boot.

People should look to see what goes in Punjab nowadays, puts many 'Brits' to shame. Also, Brit 'Sikhs' may have been different to their indigeneous counterparts 20 years ago, but today they are the same in nearly everysingle way.

Yes, but its the west that promote it like it is a desirable practice. Most eastern cultures have (or should I say had?) a degree of convervatism in this respect.

People should look to see what goes in Punjab nowadays, puts many 'Brits' to shame.

It's hard not feel that the globalisation of the above is the root cause of this.

Also, Brit 'Sikhs' may have been different to their indigeneous counterparts 20 years ago, but today they are the same in nearly everysingle way.

This is the outcome of poor parchaar that fails to reach and resonate with the Sikh masses and leaves them vulnerable to other, more base ways of living.

Actually, until the 1960s, UK and US were very conservative, and before that it was taken to legendary levels i.e. the Victorians, the influence of which still exists in Sikhs today.

One only needs to read Dasm Bani to see that the 'actions' of man have not changed over the centuries or even millenia. West may have promoted this trash recently, but the East is already taking it to another level. It goes in circles.

The Panj Chor will exist and manifest anyway, irrelevant of whether the west exists or not. We are just in a bad time at the moment were dharma has seen massive decline...
