Gyani sher singh ji ambala wale are coming tom to toronto..will be picking them up from airport shortly..i am so excited already...they are here for a week..hopefully if they allow, i would be asking them sikhi related questions in questions and answers form and recording them for sangat as by maharaj kirpa i have done with other mahapursh/parchariks- sant hari singh ji randhawale and sant jagjit singh harkhowale for past 4 years ago.

So giving everyone heads up- please post your questions here...hopefully they will allow me to ask questions and to stream line questions better..can i ask everyone to put questions in categories for eg- gurbani questions under gurbani section, socio-political questions in political section so on and so forth..!!

I will think of some of the questions myself and post them here up as well so we have them in one place.

These things on my mind lately:

Why is it that although western Europe seem to have largely rejected notions of dharam, religion and God yet still have it more cushy than most of the rest of the world?

Will Sikhi ever be a serious force for wider social development/improvements in the world or are we petering out into some narrow, tribal, regional culture-faith hybrid?

Alright here is the update...i did ask some of the questions- first two..got the answers..makes perfect sense..pretty consistent with rest of sant mandali perception. Gyani ji couldn't go in depth of those two questions and rest of them as nature of meeting place- there were lot of premis wanted to meet and besides gyani ji humbly refused to be recorded during questions and answers as gyani ji said these type of discussion are only meant for serious seekers and meant for personal one on one session based on student desire of learning and state of mind.

I did manage..however to do some quick gupt bachan bilas..they were amazing..they know lot of gurbani in kant- sri guru granth sahib ji and sri dasam granth sahib, they were reciting kabits from sri akaal ustat..almost bought tears to my eyes..vahiguroo..will be meeting them again tom or sunday to give them cds and will personally be in touch with them from now onwards !!

Why didn't Jesus, Moses and Muhammad preach reincarnation if they were messengers of God that we should appreciate?

If eating fish is bad why did Jesus eat fish and distribute it as prasad in his own langar amongst his sangat.
