Suggestions for improvement

Daas would humbly request admins/mods to look into the following recommendations, which have the potential to make this forum a better place for many:

-  Ability to block all guests.

-  When a person blocks someone, you can still see the blocked person's messages, if someone else quotes them. If something can be done about it, that would great. This would ensure, complete blockage of that person.

-  If a registered member, posts as a guest, it must be mandatory for that person to state his/her id at the start of the message.

-  Gender based discussions, where members of opposite sex or any guest are not permitted to enter. This will assist us in discussing some sensitive topics. Gurparsaad, Sri Charitropakhian Sahib jee will be discussed in details on this forum. It should turn out to be learning experience, rather than a fiasco.

-  People who attack Gurbani, Sikh ethics and principles, maryada, Sikh masters, saints, warriors, etc, must be given strict warnings.

Since the only recognized Rehet Maryada by Akal Takht is the Sikh Rehet Maryada, should this include those who continually aim to degrade the Sikh Rehet Maryada by using terms such as "so-called"  and openly degrading comments about it??  Or does this only pertain to Damdami Taksal's Rehet Maryada, which is not accepted by Akal Takht?

I'd prefer a slightly more open approach than you are suggesting myself.

I know this site is different from SS, but one major reason I think SS is much more 'popular' is that it only has 4 main sections.

I counted that this site has 17! And then many have further subsections. That's good in a way, as it's more specific for particular topics. But I think that is just too complex, unnecessarily so.

Would be happy to make suggestions if others will, and if Admin also are open.

Agree with most of above

If a Guest wants to post, they should take the minimal effort required to register an account. @Dayalkauris a good example 🤣

You want a 'Men only' subsection to the site ?! 😆

Why would someone who is a member, post as a Guest unless they cannot access their account ? How strange ?!

Wait I mean dudes pretending to be female not females being fake. Lol. I know it's confusing these days because both those groups are getting so prominent. Wait which one did you mean? Since keeping dudes out of female sports is sexist now? Kalyug is confusing. Lol.

I just visited your Profile page

Of 31 posts, in only two did you write anything in detail, the remainder are all video posting with no other details.

It would be good if you provide more info on Thakur Dalip Singh ji . I think majority of members and guests here don't know much of them.

Also, if you are posting videos which are more than 1-2 minutes long without any other context in your post to explain what is special about the video, then I think most people will ignore them.
