Guru Sahib also says in Sri Dasme Patshah's Granth that the khatris/warriors gave up arms and turned to trade.

From Sri Bachittar Natak Sahib jee:

ਬਿਪ੍ਰ ਕਰਤ ਭਏ ਸੂਦ੍ਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਬੈਸਨ ਕਰਮ ॥

Bipar Karta Bhaee Soodar Briti Chhataree Baisan Karma ॥

The Brahmins acted like Shudras and Kshatriyas like Vaishyas.

Does this book say that all dahiyas were originally Kshatriyas but later took up other occupations? Later they became to be associated with that caste due to their occupation? Just like jaats (I know this isn't a family lineage) were actually Kshatri but took on farming and became associated with vaishya?

Jaats/Jats/Jatts are Shudar. It was the Arya Samaj which elevated the status of Jaats (Hindu Jatts) to that of Kshatris.

Dahiyas are one of the 36 royal Kshatriya races of ancient India. They were mention in Greek, Egyptian and Chinese and Hindu scriptures.

Maybe they got associated with Jats, but they could be Kshatris.

Have you ever come across a Dahiya Sikh?

Serious? How many Dahiya Sikhs are there? Do all Dahiyas consider themselves as Jatts?

Do you believe that Jatts are a low caste (so-called) or not?

At this time we are considered jatts but idk.

Here's more information, this is why I'm so confused, lol:

"Dahiya are one of the most ancient warrior gotra of Jats. "

I think Jatts might be vaishyas.
