I have put on both adjustable gatra and a normal gatra and felt the difference. Gatra is an integral part of the Kipran. It's the Janeu for Khalsa.

STOP trying to add your manmat to it and trying to "improve" it. It's not a school bag strap. And you aren't changing height everyday, so why do you even need an adjustable gatra?

Please keep it like it originally is; there is a immense difference, but you have to be in the subtle dimension to detect it.
