I don't feel like I've woken up unless I blast myself with cold water. Sort of perks you up as well. lol

For cold water. To get the benefits, temperature of water must be less than 15C, ideal is around 10C and less. Normally beginners start at around 22C. Gradually the temperature should be reduced over a course of few weeks.

After several months of cold water, body gets used to it and it will not bother you anymore and will feel normal. Try to take very deep breath in regular fashion.
