The whole purpose of Durga Das Rathore was to get Ajit singh back onto the throne. As always Aurangzeb involved himself in succession disputes by putting up his own candidates. Handpicked minions to lead the kingdom or religious group. He was to have destroyed hundreds of mosques and replaced them with temples.
