Very excited about this contemporary source of information regarding the events at M. Ranjit Singh's darbar. It's one of those works that I know will totally transform my knowledge and understanding of Sikh raj under Ranjit Singh, and based on what little I've read so far, I think readers will get a new depth of understanding regarding the role of prominent sardars of the darbar - like Sham Singh Attari and Hari Singh Nalwa.
