I am not sure about location. Thats the sad part, even with one arm missing, people were cautious to approach him.

Why are people with mental health issues not doing something else?  What percentage of mentally ill people are doing beadbi these days? Most of the cases of beadabi show mental health issues,  it's more like an excuse than a valid reason.

Fair point, but at this stage here, we don't even know where this has taken place? Looks like somewhere in India based on the dress codes I'm seeing. Plus, it's not going to be hard to find a one armed man is it. 

Gurdwaras all over the world are in some cloud cuckoo land when it comes to security. Older people or conservatives, I think, don't want to face up to the issue presumably because it frightens them, and their past experiences teach them that it's not anything to be concerned about.

Even one I used to go to in E.London once had some people trying to break in based on CCTV footage. In the end, no additional precautions were taken. Even in places like the US, where we've had a neo-nazi shoot up in a Gurdwara, Panjabi parents are still reluctant to let their young adult children learn firearms and keep a concealed weapons license - even though it is perfectly legal there.
