I want to see Sikhs stop drinking and smoking. I want to witness Sikhs acting like heroes. I want to see Sikhs fighting everywhere against caste, against white supremacy and every other kind of racism. I want to see Sikh organizations go from being male dominated to practicing gender equality over night. I want to see Sikhs defending the trees, and the animals and the air and the water. O my yes, I want it to be like them old days, when Sikhs were doing it already! The World doesn't know about Sikhi yet. How would YOU like to see the Sikhs enter the World play? O I know, I need to release and detach. But, my Guru, you know me. I am just a little girl in my heart who heard a story about the Sikhs, and then another, and another, and another. Until I was begging to be allowed to belong with these people. And You my Guru weren't racist. You took me right in and I became Khalsa. I really wanted to be a good Sikh and I got tested and I am still being tested. You know how I have failed. And by amazing GRACE, I have succeeded too. I even tried to give it up, yet You, my Guru, knew I am devoted to You. Can humans change? Or are we just STUCK with the way things are? Is it our Karma that our World is being run by MONEY, SEX and POWER addicts? We should just accept this and wait for a better rebirth?
