Thanks in advance The challenge of being the mother of Jesus, from conception, through pregancy, thorugh birth, through childhood, through adulthood, until death. Catholics believe that only someone pure could give birth to Jesus. Also in the Bible, Jesus never said no to his mother. Everything Mary told Jesus to do, he did. Trust me you don't have much to be proud of given the situation it is in. You can try and make yourself feel better by demeaning other religious traditions but none of that will erase the following: a. that YOUR community has the worst gender imbalance in the world due to female infanticide. In this you have outdone the pagan Arabs before Islam: probably why God was "forced" to send you another prophet. (I love this joke!) b. your youth has no religious culture and is leaving the religion c. your religious places are controlled by people who themselves have no idea of religion and have no shame in offering fre whisky for gurdwara elections. d. speaking of which your elect-your-favourite-donkey system brings about nice clashes in gurdwaras e. you have destroyed the kirtan traditions of the Gurus etc etc people living in houses made of glass shouldn't throw stones... You have NO legitimacy in claiming to understand the religious traditions you are criticising.
