I know that the Udasis are respected amongst the Sadhus and Yogis. But what about the Nirmalas? Guest Javanmard Posted May 17, 2004 Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 They are so respected that the dashnami swamis (the most orthodox of them all) have asked Shri Mahant Gyan Dev SIngh Ji (who is not even a brahmin) to teach one of their sections!!! Remember what Guru Gobind Singh Ji replied to Pandit Raghunath when he refused to teach Sanskrit to the Sikhs: "One day my Sikhs will teach your people!".
