What are the views of the members on names such as Kumedan (pronounced Kuumeydan) or Sainapat.

Kumedan is a corruption of Commandant. Though not a pure Punjabi name. I've always liked it for some reason. Kumedan Singh was the name of a Sikh chief who commanded a body of Sikh soldiers based at Gurdwara Damdama in early 19th century Assam.

Sainapat was the name of the writer of Sri Gur Sobha and was an eyewitness to the events in the life of Guru Gobind Singh.
