HISTORY & REVIEW

INTRODUCTION: Khalsa College London (KCL) is a Sixth Form Independent College. It is set up to promote:

* Education in Social & Pure Sciences

* Education in Mother-tongue languages

* Education in Oriental Religions

* Education in Indian Music and Dances

KCL was officially opened on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 516 anniversary in November 1985 by His Worship, The Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Peter Pitt.

The College's administration is divided into a Junior Section and a Senior Section.

JUNIOR SECTION:

Mathematics, Science, English, Computer, Panjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi,

Religious Studies and Music ( Harmonium, key-board, Tabla).

All courses follow National curriculum( key stages- 1-4)

SENIOR SECTION:

Khalsa College London's further education section is a Sixth Form Independent College

recognised as an Examination Centre by EDEXCEL, AQA and OCR.
