Right, a number of people I know are celebrating lohdhi this year because they have had a baby boy born to the family. What is this about? Where does this 'tradition' stem from? Why were there old women waving moolia in a camp fire and throwing puffed rice into the fire? This is the first time I have seen the fire thing. Far as I knew, on lohdhi, peeps just passed around rehdhia & moophlia and gave out suits. 1st time i've seen the camp fire thing.
