Monaey (Cut Hair ) = Sikh ???

Recommended Posts

lol i havent quiet said that have i? in part of her post she makes it clear that what others post wouldn't make a difference to another person who maybe thinking about becoming gursikh which is what i was getting at as someone could come up with a very good reply to what someone may be thinking about.

Cheers,

Hardeep.

in that case were ALL (non monaey sikhs) wasting our time, on this forum and others is what your saying here, i disagree with you here as you do not know what may cause that little bit of spark in a sikhs head to become a gursikh which is where we all should be heading, anything in between is a waste.

this is what was one of the points i made in my first post on this thread for this exact reason above, people taking ours advice, opinions, reasons as someone forcing religous issues upon them, i certainly feel this is not the case here and defo not in my own posts.

Hardeep.

there's a big difference between coercion, ridicule and encouragement.

i saw very little encouragement, and more ridicule.

that's what i was commenting on.

i never pointed you out as having done that, but it was the general atmosphere of this thread towards the beginning.

my apologies for making you feel like you were being coercive and ridiculous.

So Bhai Taru Singh was a pakhandi?

Bullshit. Pure Bullshit. Kesas are important. It is hukam. It is true that you don't find God by just keeping hair but you don't find God by cutting hair either. But if you want to merge with God, you must have hair. if you cut your head, won't come back but if you cut your hair, they come back. Why? Akal wants you to keep them. "Rehni Rhay so-ee Sikhs mayray". If you are going to have intercourse outside of marriage, cut hair, take drugs, and eat halal. Sorry, you are not a Sikh. Come back when you are ready to folow the path.

u kno what, the point of that tukh about kesh not takin u to god, is not sayin that kesh unimportant, just sayin that kesh ALONE wont get u to god...meaning that kesh is important, but only if u have something else - jeevan...

being a pakhandi will not help u reach god, i think thats the message

Challenge_Everything, if u feel someone is insulting, jus remember that it is their view, and realise that they just insult themselves by posting crap

Khalsa Fauj, you have done ur parchaar, ur duty is done...if ppl dnt want to listen to what u think is correct, then u shudnt stick around and carry on tryin to force it down ppls throats...if u ever want ppl to understand sikhi(in the way that u feel is correct)...continually goin on and on and on about it is only gna make ppl turn away from u and ur belief...

Plus dnt be the empty vessel that kabir ji talks about...stop making a racket outa this...

i agree

meaning that kesh is important

i disagree.

i may agree with the above statement, but i disagree that this is what the tukh is saying. u have inferred that because the message is not that kesh is unimportant, it must mean that kesh is important. that is an illogical step. also, ce has never said kesh is unimportant.

perhaps if i wasn't so lazy & looked it up, the context may provide more answers.

being a pakhandi will not help u reach god, i think thats the message

i agree.

Look in the mirror and say that to yourself.

You may learn more from it than others will.

What do my comments have to do with Sharam? Doesn't make sence. I know some of you have no sharam at all. Saying tria chariter is bani. Rehat binna nahee Sikh khaavai, rehat binaa dar chotaa khaavai. How many quoted are needed?

Christians have one jesus and look where they took their religion.

Look at muslims and where they are taking their religion.

Ever wonder why Sikhism hasn't apread at the rate it should have?

Because people cut hair and call themselves SIkh and then there are Amritdharis and they are Sikhs.

People get confused. Then these hair cutters start running their mouth that they know more and that they are Sikhs. Then arguments erupt between each other.

The outsider looses interest even before learning anything.

Who is responsible?

If Guru Ji says rehni rhay so-ee Sikh mayra. You know more than Guru?

What is so hard about keeping hair? What is the problem?

Let me tell what the problem is. Hair cut role models, bollywood, corrupted society and above all those, GIRLS. It is a fact many people have admitted this to me personally.

Why?

They follow. They learn and apply. Show me one muslim eating pork.

As for people saying that forcing hair is going to turn these people away from Sikhi. Guess what. They already are already turned away. They took a knife and boom, to the back of the Panth.

If there is nothing wrong in cutting hair, then why couldn't jakria cut Bhai Taru Singh's hair? Why couldn't some racist people cut Bhai Pretam Singh's hair in Pakistan in 1955?

Sikhs took torture but never said anything like I am going to take you along with me with my shoes. Sikhs allow their head to be cut, take torture but don't accept cutting hair.

Raja Alla Singh paid abdali 100,000 rupees so he dosn't cut his hair. Maharani refused to accept Duleep Singh as her son because he had his hair cut. She died due to the fact that Duleep Singh didn't have hair. She still couldn't accept it even though Duleep Singh said agreed that he will become Sikh and take Khaday Dee Pahul whenever he can. He was successful and received it after running away from britain.

Every rehatnama doesn't lie. When Mardana met Guru Nanak Ji and wanted to stay with Guru Ji, Guru Ji told him that he has accept the followign principles:

1. Never cut hair

2. No intoxicants

3. Sing praises of Akal

Mardana agreed and was allowed to stay with Guru Ji.

If someone is addicted to drugs, the person might have some problems quitting but there is nothing hard in keeping hair. All you need to do is let it grow.

Hair reduces chances of diseases such as SARS, asthma, tuberculosis, decay of teeth, disease of bones, etc. Hair also: attracts solar energy and provides it to brain; provides protection against certain types of cancer, rash, sunburn, etc.

Hair are not only important if you want to be spiritual but they also provide safety from certain diseases.

Ever wonder what Akirghan is?

Look in the mirror.

I don't hate those who cut hair. I just request them not to call themselves Sikh. It really defames the sacrifices of Shaheeds and Guru Ji and especially SAHIBZADAS. They were 6 and 8 but they accepted martyrdom but not cutting hair or becoming Muslim. This is also for girls who fall into the trap of muslim boys and become muslim. Waheguru gave long facial hair to men only. If you cutting them away, this means only one thing that you don't want to be a man anymore. For more, just listen to Sant Jarnail Singh Ji's speeches. These statements are for those who know the history and know the imporatance oof hair but don't apply it for their selfish needs. I don't blame those who don't know much about history or Rehat.

i definitely dunno why i could ever think that you have no sharam whatsoever. and i can see how much your posts are overflowing with love for others.

vah jee vah. this is what you call a "gurmukh".

quick question fer ya:

are you the exact same as Bhai Taru Singh?

are you the exact same as CE?

is anyone the exact same as anyone else?

no?

then why do you assume that everyone's path must be the EXACT same as everyone else's?

khalsa fauj. ur reply to ea game i will give...... SHUT UP!!!!

all ur other posts after that excellent. ck. u do have abit of sense.

now. i think u r smart but dumb at the same time.

Taru Singh Nihang yes he was a great man. u do have a point.

SIkh is every1 and Guru Nanak dev Ji loves all sikhs.

Satguru Nanak dev ji the True Guru of kaljug will not turn his back on no human being. so in a way just because u have hair doesn't make u better than a next manz who has.

out of hundred Gurdwarai u can only count a handful of keshdhari who do seva from their heart. where as many manmukhs (as u call them) monai ppls go to the gurdwara when they have time and when they feel it in their heart and do seva out of love. and give $$$ whenever they can. yes i'm on about the majority of them. monai ppl have more love for other human beings than keshdhari ppl. so who r u to say anything to them.

tri chaliter:

Sant Jarnail Singh belived in it and taught his crew. so u wanna listen to his tapes, cds, videos, well listen to the whole pachar of mehta. Dasam they respect as much as AAD granth.

i'll take it u r another tablian member. ok i say to all manz on here leave u to it to ur peaceful planet in ur mind and let u live ur life on ur own with all the gurmukhs u want.

and let the rest of us socialise and sit down with all other human beings on this planet in reality.

fauj u do have good points but u hate to much. u r a typical armit sak guy. up his own ass TO*SER.

KESH is important in all reht. but LOVE is teh highest. boy u ain't got love. what a shame. do u love ur own moma when she does not follow what u say. do u even follow what she tells u to do. manz gotta love man. peace on earth. stop global warming. :D

i lub ju all my fellow human beings
