For the most part people have a palang and manjee, where the saroop is transfered to the palang. Now what happens if space is an issue? Can we make a manjee/palang combo that is 6 feet long by 3 feet wide and do prakash and sucasan on the "combo"? It was my understanding that the manjee should be at least about 10-12 inches or open space around the saroop, hence a single manjee excluding the combo would have to be about 4.5 wide x 6 feet long + the palang which would be 3.5 feet wide. There ends up being no room to sit or move around. All of the rooms are a similar size. I am finding in the newly built home in Ontario, the rooms are quite small. The room is going to be 11 feet long X 10 feet wide. How have some of you constructed you gurdwaras at home? And Guru Ji knows it well too .
